College students’ annual rite of debauchery during spring break continues despite towns’ attempts to curb it.
Just when you thought spring break couldn’t get any weirder, this happened.
College students from across the country gathered this week in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to take swigs out of a half-naked female mannequin filled with liquor, with a spigot coming out of its crotch.

“'Grab the t**s! Grab the t**s!' people were yelling,” photographer Jorge Rodriguez told Fox News. Rodriguez, who was on the Las Olas beach all day snapping pics, said the bizarre behavior escalated as the day went on, including “lots of vodka drinking out of Gatorade bottles,” twerking, public makeout sessions, and butt grabbing among the students on the sunny, but somewhat chilly 74-degree day.

Though Fort Lauderdale has enacted new measures like banning coolers, tents, tables, noisy speakers and inflatable devices from the beaches through spring break season, in addition to limiting parking, traffic routes and alcohol on the shores, it’s evident from the photos that the collegians are by no means slowing down their shenanigans.

In fellow spring break hotspot Panama City Beach, Metro reports that over 220 spring breakers had been arrested as of March 13. Nevertheless, Panama City Beach Mayor Mike Thomas told Fox News that his town's strict rules have seriously curtailed illegal behavior in recent years.
“We changed the hours of drinking back two hours earlier, bars must close at two, no drinking on the beach in March, no parking overnight on the rightaways, those are just some of them,” Thomas said. “I know that the arrests are down, and that we are having a very nice spring break.”

But Thomas said that in Panama City at least, they’re no longer looking the other way at rabble rousers.

“It just won’t be tolerated. If that’s what kids want, they definitely shouldn’t be coming here," Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce President Dan Lindblade similarly told the Sun Sentinel . "The spring break days of the past aren’t that way anymore.”
Shannon, a merrymaker from the University of Tampa, kind of agreed, telling Rodriguez that though she’s having a good time, “there is not enough loud music, and a lot of cops.”
But it turns out some of those cops are also contributing to the merriment. Ernesto Rodriguez, a spokesperson for the Miami Beach Police Department, believes that if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.
“This year, we refurbished an old lifeguard stand, where we have a sergeant and detective stationed on the weekend to DJ, engage with our community and visitors and remind them of the do’s and don’ts of having a good time,” he told Fox News.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Students and parents are in shock after a group of teenagers had sex in a high school bathroom in Fort Myers, Florida, and then posted a video of the act on social media .
A teenage girl had sex with as many as two dozen boys after school Tuesday afternoon at South Fort Myers High School, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
Deputies said 25 males were spotted via a hallway camera entering the restroom while the female was inside, the News-Press reported .
“A bunch of football players went into a room with a girl and had sex with her, and a bunch of the football players were suspended,” student Alex Bailey told WBBH . “So we might not have a football team this year.”
“The fact that that could’ve happened is just crazy in my mind,” another student said.
Parent Megan Roldan said the incident proves some parents need to be more aware of what their children are getting up to when school ends.
“And apparently, obviously the parents need to be talking to their kids more,” Roldan told WINK . “And being aware of what their children are doing after school.”
Even though the incident happened after hours, some students are wondering where the administration was when all of this was going on.
“I just don’t see how that could’ve happened because there is so much security in there,” student Erin Bollinger said. “Like the teachers are really on top of all of that.”
Students said the entire thing was filmed and then posted on social media.
“There’s girls that saw the video once and it hurt, it is just so disturbing to them,” student Casey Winn said.
Some parents question how this could have happened at the school.
“Well, they should be walking around the halls and things like that and know where the kids are,” Roldan said.
But others said they trust the school district to handle the situation
“I trust them to take care of it,” one woman said. “I really do think that that is their job and they will take care of it.”
The sheriff’s office said the girl’s mother is not planning to press charges.
A school district official said the students involved have been disciplined.

The girls bend over in their bikinis and blow glitter out of their manicured hands.
They suck on an icy pole with lipsticked mouths. They sashay through mountains of bubbles, clasping hands. They faux-wrestle on a pier using inflatable noodles.
This isn’t a lingerie shoot or even a music video – it’s a recruitment video for a university sorority.
The video was produced for the Alpha Phi sorority at the University of Alabama, and it’s aimed at recruiting prospective students to live and work in the sorority house.
And while American sororities have long been associated with straight, white, heterosexual ideals of femininity, the Alpha Phi recruitment video takes those stereotypes to a whole new level.
The overall effect of the video, which racked up 500,000 video in its first week alone, is Mean Girls – meets-tampon-ad.
And while that may sound funny, it’s really not. Because it shows the ridiculous, intensely restrictive ideals some young women feel pressured to fulfill — even in 2015, and even within a relatively competitive educational institution.
The women all look the same – and it’s clear that only women who fit this mold will be considered in their exclusive club.
As writer AL Bailey pointed out on AL.com , the video is also striking for what it lacks: racial diversity. While the student body of the University of Alabama is 12 percent African-American, every single girl shown in the video — 72 in total, according to AL.com — appears to be Caucasian.
“It’s all so … unempowering,” AL Bailey writes.
“‘To the incoming PNMs [Potential New Members], this video has a clear sales pitch: beauty, sexuality, and a specific look above all.”
If this video is anything to go by, US sororities haven’t come far since the University of Southern California’s Alpha Chi Omega sorority famously instructed its members on exactly what makeup to wear, and how to style their hair, back in January.
That sorority told applicants: “You cannot have roots during recruitment, so if you dye your hair like me, please take care of that before arriving back to school. Your hair needs to be able to hold for 15 hr days and hairspray crunchy or limp hair is not acceptable.”
“You need to have foundation, concealer, something pinky/neutral for the lips (stain, gloss, etc), BLOT POWDER/OIL BLOTTERS, eyeliner (BLACK or BROWN only), mascara, neutral eyeshadows, bronzer, and (optional but recommended) blush,” it continued.
“Your eyebrows need to look neat (as in not messy) for recruitment.”
Frankly, we’d rather stab ourselves repeatedly with a very sharp stiletto than join any clique that expects such exclusionary, narrow ideals of femininity.
We hope next year’s Alpha Phi recruitment video shows a little more diversity.
