and I knew that I wasn't ready to have one-night stand,
but I was also really horny all the time
and honestly, I would've slept with anyone
My sober self knew that I wasn't ready,
I wore a decidedly puritanical outfit
Like, just the like the ugliest bra you could think of.
We go to the party and I get drunk.
There was like, beer pong and people were shotgunning
and mixing all sorts of flavored vodkas.
I sort of loved it and hated it at the same time.
And I see this guy who's wearing a frat shirt,
and I was like, You, you're perfect.
I don't think we exchanged any words.
And at one point, he was like, Wait, pause,
on my friend Shula's dorm room wall.
to go back to his dorm room and hook up.
I do remember sort of panicking on the way there,
knowing that his expectations and mine were different
He took off my shirt, and the first thing he said
At this point I'm sobering up a little bit,
and I think, Am I gonna go through with this?
But I wanted to be polite, I didn't wanna offend him.
So I was just going with the strategy of distracting him.
So I was like, What kind of books do you like?
And he was like, I don't really read,
and kept pulling at my skirt, trying to get it off.
And I was like, Okay, but if you had to pick
just one book that you've read that you really liked.
And he was like, Okay, who's the guy
and certified academic asshole, was aghast.
and he kept kissing my neck and just littering my body
with all these horrible teenage-y hickeys,
And so I just went with the first thing
that popped in my head, I'm on my period,
It was like, Can you at least do anything?
And my closing line was, Not if you like Michael Crichton.
As I'm walking home, I have my shoes in my hand
and don't feel bad about offending a bro at a party
because you don't owe them anything.

Jonathan Walker says he wants to pursue engineering and entrepreneurship.
A Florida teen says he is celebrating after being accepted to 27 colleges and universities, including Harvard, Stanford and MIT, and receiving over $4 million in scholarship money.
“It was just a surprise just to see that they were interested in me and they wanted me to attend their institution, that they were offering me admission… it was just a ton of excitement,” Jonathan Walker said during an interview with ABC News' Linsey Davis.
Walker, a high school senior from Panama City, Florida, said he found something he liked at every school and only applied to schools where he could be “happy.”
“Every school on my list, I could see myself there, and so I didn’t apply to anywhere that I don’t think I could be happy, so I just made a list and started to apply,” Walker said.
Now with 27 acceptances, he says he is trying to decide which school he will attend this fall.
"I’ve been able to narrow it down slightly… hopefully in the next couple of weeks, I’ll be able to make a pretty confident decision,” he said.
While Walker has a big decision ahead of him, he says he does have some thoughts on a possible major.
“I’m mostly interested in engineering as well entrepreneurship, hopefully going down like a nonprofit route, creating devices to help people. But I’m also exploring the possibility of creating my own major since I have a ton of different interests,” Walker said.
Walker’s interest in engineering was initially sparked by a chemistry set gift from his parents, he says.
“My parents brought me a chemistry set a couple of years ago… I found a way to channel that curiosity into science and that soon blossomed into engineering. And then from there I really learned that I could use engineering to help people," Walker said. "And so I just became super interested in creating devices that could help disadvantaged communities and people going though difficult problems.”
Walker tells ABC News he is working with a partner on a wrist device that allows people who are blind and deaf to communicate better with people. He says he previously created a device which tackles prescription medication reminders.
Walker says he was also voted homecoming king and is active in science club, the international Baccalaureate program and the varsity football team.
“I’ve been blessed with God, with a lot of ability, and so I mean I just want to take the time and use it to the fullest extent and just affect others positively, affect them and try and inspire other people," he said. "And so I’m just thankful for the position I’ve been put in."

A male University of Michigan student claims he was sexually assaulted after he was unknowingly slipped a “benzo” date-rape drug at a party, according to a report.
The victim told campus police he could hardly remember what happened the night of April 11, when he and his friends were walking and got chatted up by two college-age men around 10 p.m., MLive in Michigan reported.
The pair invited the group to a house party on Fletcher Street in Ann Arbor, where the student was given a soft drink mixed with alcohol.
He woke up the next day with a foggy memory — and injuries consistent with being sexually assaulted, he told police.
The victim tested positive for benzodiazepine, a powerful sedative known as a “benzo” and commonly used as a date-rape drug.
The first suspect went by the name “Darnell” and was described as a black male about 21 or 22 years old, between 6 feet 1 and 6 feet 2, with a solid build and dark, clear complexion. He has short, dark hair and a well-formed beard on his chin and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket.
The second suspect, who went by the name “Sam,” is a white male, 21 or 22 years old, 5 feet 9 or 5 feet 10 with a thin build, blond hair parted on the left with a swoop and a clean-shaven face. He was wearing bright green basketball shoes.
