Okay for the cheap price, bathroom was dirty, rooms need to get renovated. Super simple, not clean and the restaurant is not good at all. After arguing a bit, the owner just says, 'Yes, I know we get lots of complaints about it and we have to change the name of the room'. On the pictures they only show the 'Super Deluxe Superior'. Its ok for 2 nights but if you are looking for a long relaxing holiday, choose a different resort. You can find way better places in that price range. The only good thing is the location, which is incredible. One staff member was very friendly, but we had no dealings with her as she spoke no English so was obviously just placed at the front desk to be a smiling face. The others were a little rude. As a couple, we were first shown to a well-located bungalow with two separate twin beds The second choice was located at the back beside a big dirty wall with views of The food in the restaurant was gross The room was spartan with a wet-bath, but it was fine for the price. The resort is like a set of bungalows in a line from the beach in the rear to the road out front. The beach area features a restaurant, lounge chairs for sunning, even a massage service there on a little platform in front of the restaurant. There is easy access to sun and swimming, as well as to the bars, shops and restaurants on the road. The restaurant menu is printed in English, German and Thai. The rooms are not up to western standards of comfort but not uncommon for this part of the world. If you want to save some money, this could work for you. If you want a comfortable and luxurious vacation experience, look for something more upscale. In all honesty, Utopia Resort is not the poshest of hotels, but the service was definitely 5 star. Every single time I left my room, and came back, my bed linens had been changed, fresh towels had replaced my used ones, all bathroom surfaces were scoured, shiny, and spot free, and paper products were constantly replenished, as well as bottled water. I know for a fact that I dragged in more sand than there was on the beach, yet there was never a speck of sand after my room had been made up. The owner is lovely, and took the time out of her day to speak to me, and many other guests, to make sure we were doing ok, and to ask if there was anything we needed. Utopia Resort is right on Lamai Beach, and is in the midst of all the local bars, massage spots, and restaurants. For the price, this resort truly wins my vote. It feels very much like being amongst family while staying there. I would stay there again. Friendly staff con: when I was there there was construction work from neighboring buildings in the morning. The location of the restaurant is very good beach but the quality of the breakfast was poor. I went there only once. Bring your own lock for the safety boxes at the reception. Room was big enough but very basic value for money ok. Aircon worked fine. My girlfriend and I stayed at utopia for 3 nights and loved it. Our room was very big and clean and the free wifi was excellent. The resort is right on the beach and also on the busy road of lamai so we were close to all the bars an restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. We opted for the beach front bungalow which was right in front of the beach. It was very clean and had everything you would need. The restaurant was right next door and I would recommend paying extra for the banana pancake. Breakfast was included but we got the extra pancake and it was delicious! Not like a normal pancake. We rented scooters from the hotel which were bht a day. Also the hotel is located on a little strip with many restaurants bars and shops in walking distance. Their is even a gym and a mui thai training facility a little up the road if you would like to get some training in. The location was good with downtown lamai beach within walking distance, and the beach is nice. My room was very basic, but clean and reasonably comfortable. The restaurant on the beach and the included breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, there are better hotels for not much more money available in the area, and I will not stay at the Utopia Resort again. The bungalows were very spacious and the rooms were cleaned perfectly. Very close to the beach with the resturaunt on the beach. The staff were very freindly and nothing was too much trouble. The only tiny fault was there wasnt much choice for breakfast if it was included in the room rate. Главное преимущество отеля - его расположение. Завтраки в отеле скромные. Персонал дружелюбный. Бассейна нет, но пляж в двух шагах. В своем ценовом сегменте это лучший вариант, месторасположение, пляж, услуги и тд, завтраки скромные по меню, ежедневная уборка, отзывчивый и внимательный персонал, не ожидал такого от бюджетного отеля, спасибо персоналу за отдых, нам все понравилось, вернемся в декабре! Хорошее расположение, но грязно, хороший персонал, для непритязательных туристов. Отель оооооочень старый. На фото всё выглядит намного приятней. На деле это скрипучее старое дерево, трещины везде, тараканы и паутина. Завтраки скудные. Пляж очень маленький. В общем за эти деньги - я осталась крайне не довольна. Отель понравился, прекрасное расположение, чистота, невысокая цена. Очень удачное расположение, прекрасный пляж, хорошие завтраки. Нам повезло с номером - единственный номер, стоящий на берегу моря неожиданно нам достался. А так - 2 звезды и есть 2 звезды. Пляж маленький, но нормальный, море хорошее. Но кто ищет большей комфортности обслуживания и более красивой обстановки вокруг вам явно не сюда. Все предельно просто, без затей, но тем не менее - воду в номер дают, номера убирают, завтрак присутствует, вай фай работает, холодильник, тв, ну и море и солнце, которые не зависят от звездности отеля. Расположение нормальное, вокруг масса заведений. Очень скромный отель, но чистый. Все поминимуму. Отличный пляж. Отличное месторасположение. Завтраки по меню. Лежаки и зонтики на пляже есть. Магазины и т. Понравилось все. Обязательно вернусь еще и только в этот отель. Не большой отель, чистая территория. Хорошо убираются в номерах, приветливый персонал. Завтраки никакие. Отель находится на первой линии и идти до моря 2 шага. У отеля свои лежаки. В общем пребывание в отели понравилось. В конце отдыха было не большое недопонимание с администратором. Отель заказывала через сайт, а администратор почему то попросила меня заплатить за мое пребывание. На что я ей показала ваучер. Увидев ваучер и спросив сколько я заплатила и услышав сумму намного меньше чем она просила, сделала не самое милое лицо, но отпустила с Богом:. Выбор отель был обусловлен ценой и расположением, и мы не ошиблись. Отель находится на пляже Ламай. Есть свои лежаки. Входишь в воду, и сразу глубина, по-этому маленьких детей без присмотра оставить нельзя. Рядом есть риф, но он не мешает. Около него можно поплавать с маской. Мы были в конце июня, море практически спокойное, иногда были небольшие волны. Завтрак в отеле американский не шведский стол и нас вполне устроил. Панкейк - объедение. Порадовал ресторан при отеле. Очень вкусная кухня. Есть меню на русском языке. Территория отеля небольшая, уютная и чистая. Бунгало небольшие, обстановка простая. Убирают каждый день. Из моющих только мыло. Пляжное полотенце нужно попросить. Мы остались очень довольны. Die Anlage hat eine prima Lage mit direktem Strandzugang. Personal super Freundlich, danke an Pom, cooler Typ. Wir kommen wieder. Ich kannte das Utopia schon, war acht Jahre vorher schon mal dort. Wir hatten die Deluxe 2 - Zimmer die brauen. Jeden Tag gab es 2 Flaschen Wasser kostenlos. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Sehr Zentrum nahe; sicherlich kein Luxus-Zimmer, aber man ist auch eher am Strand oder unterwegs. Hatten die einfache Zimmerausstattung und es war trotzdem alles da, Dusche Klima und tv. Letzterer nicht benutzt. Essen ist lecker! Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jediglich die Klimaanlage war gut, da sie leise war. Ausgezeichnete Anlage mit super tollen Bungalows. Sehr zu empfehlen bei Familien. Ruhige Klimaanlage im Bungalow. Werde sicher wieder einmal dort meine Ferien verbringen. Balstoties uz atsauksmes. Gada laiks.
