Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mali Porat. The bread served before the meal was delicious, I had calamari, as did my eldest daughter, delicious! My wife had fruit de mare pasta, and although it was tasty, she had a bit of food envy over our calamari. My youngest daughter who is fairly picky opted for a ham omelette. We ordered soft drinks, with mineral water, sprite and coke being delivered as expected, but when a glass of squeezed lemon juice accompanied by five sachets of sugar arrived in place of what we know as 'lemonade', we did have a good chuckle, my daughter did try to persevere, but in the end she had to accept defeat and order an orangina to replace it. We didn't have deserts the ice cream stall on the other side of the harbour offers an amazing assortment of flavours for just 8kuna each , but even so, the bill was just kuna, great value. The service was efficient, though not overly 'warm'; certainly not rude though, we had no complaints. Four of us had a wonderful lunch comprising friend calamari and fries plus Greek style salad. Everyone reported best ever. A good choice on offer. Nothing pretentious here. Highly recommended but it is cash only. We had a pleaure to travel during worst weather in May. Approx degrees.
