I can't remember the last time this house felt so alive. In the past, I often used work as an excuse to stay out, and when I did visit, I'd mostly just sleep and leave. While part of that was due to having many things to hide from Mother, it wasn't the whole story. I wasn't a particularly affectionate son either.
He suddenly gazed at Zhenya. He must have had ulterior motives, but should I feel a little proud that he kept looking at Mother without my knowledge? After a long stare, the bastard soon met my gaze.
"Eat a lot, slowly."
She carefully placed a piece of fish on Zhenya's spoon. He didn't eat it right away and just stared blankly at his spoon. A deep, unreachable place stirred with a subtle, ticklish feeling.
"You could stay and sleep before leaving."
Mother, who had come out to see us off to the elevator, expressed her deep regret. Then Zhenya stared intently at Kwon Taekjoo. It was as if he was asking me to tell him what this small woman was saying with such a pitiful expression. Kwon Taekjoo shrugged and lied as he translated.
"She's telling me to get lost quickly."
Without fail, a suspicious glance flew my way. I ignored it and stopped Mother.
"Oh, Mother, really. Why go that far? Would the Ambassador be comfortable sleeping at our house? Look at him. He looks uncomfortable."
There wasn't a hint of change on Zhenya's face during the day, but Kwon Taekjoo insisted, claiming he was terribly embarrassed. Then he wrapped his arm around Mother's back and ushered her back inside.
"I'll see the Ambassador home and have a drink on the way back. I might be late, so please sleep first."
"Is that so? Well, then? Don't worry about me, take good care of him."
Mother readily agreed. She knew being nice to the Ambassador had nothing to do with promotions, but she was incredibly devoted. Mother didn't go inside until she saw the two men get on the elevator.
The moment the door closed, Zhenya pressed his body against me. *Hey*, I tried to stop him, but to no avail, as the man buried his face in my hair. Every time he did that, it felt like I was raising a big dog, not a crocodile.
Zhenya's car was parked in the underground parking lot. It flaunted a presence that couldn't be ignored, just like its owner. The already narrow parking space looked even tighter. Was that why everyone avoided it? The area around the bastard's Bugatti was conspicuously empty. Well, at least he didn't have to worry about parking.
"Should I drive?"
"I'll do it."
He started the car and gestured for me to get in. We got in side by side, into the driver's and passenger seats. *Thud*. As soon as the doors closed, we slipped out of the parking lot.
He reclined the seat deeply and leaned back comfortably. Inside the car, where not even the usual music played, only the constant hum of the engine resonated. In the city, where night had deepened, there were hardly any cars or people. I blankly watched the streetlights passing by quickly. My stomach was full, and having showered made me drowsy. The subtle vibration transmitted from the car body also contributed to making my body even more languid.
Soon, Zhenya's Bugatti arrived in front of my residence. The garage sensor activated, and the shutter opened. He drove the car inside and turned off the engine. Simultaneously, the lights that had brightly illuminated the interior went out.
"Hey."
Zhenya, who was about to open the door and get out, looked back at the quiet Kwon Taekjoo. We had arrived at our destination, but he showed no sign of movement. Leaning my upper body over to check, I saw that Kwon Taekjoo had completely dozed off and fallen asleep. He was breathing deeply, apparently exhausted. To receive the service Kwon Taekjoo had promised, he should have woken him up.
He watched the sleeping Kwon Taekjoo for a while longer before getting out of the car. Then he walked around the car body and opened the passenger door. Kwon Taekjoo's body, which had been leaning that way, slumped out on its own. He caught me and lightly slung me over one shoulder, then leisurely headed inside.
He laid the fast-asleep Kwon Taekjoo on the bed. As the plush mattress supported my body and the soft sheets wrapped around my skin, Kwon Taekjoo instinctively rubbed his face. Without consciousness, he burrowed sluggishly into the blanket.
Watching that sight, he popped open the buttons of his shirt. The corners of his mouth lifted, drawing a refreshing smile.
Kwon Taekjoo, unaware of the situation about to befall him, sank deeper into the mire of sleep.

"Hmm?"
My eyes flew open. A ceiling that seemed both familiar and unfamiliar abruptly filled my vision. How did I get here? I quietly retraced the memories of last night. I clearly remembered leaving home and getting into Zhenya's car. But I had no memory of getting out under my own power. It seemed...
I must have lost consciousness along the way. It was because I hadn't been able to get proper sleep for a while.
I rolled my eyes and scanned my surroundings. Where I was seemed to be Zhenya's bedroom. I had only been here once before going on a business trip, so it still felt a bit awkward. Zhenya was nowhere to be seen; he must have gone somewhere. I couldn't sense the bastard's presence either. Was he not home? While vaguely guessing, I had no intention of getting up to check. I just curled up lazily, procrastinating. The scent of the bastard was thickly embedded in the sheets. Yet, I didn't mind and buried my head in them.
Then, suddenly, I threw back the blanket. No wonder it felt unusually chilly even though it was summer; there wasn't a single thread covering my body.
Come to think of it, while my head felt refreshingly rested as if I'd slept soundly, my body felt stiff and sore as if I'd wrestled all night. A sticky sensation was concentrated especially in my groin.
I bolted upright and grabbed my aching lower back. Groaning, I checked my crotch. Surprisingly, it was clean. But kiss marks, red and purple, were stamped all over the visible areas. The insides of my thighs were bluish-green as if bruised. *Could he really not know he was biting like this?* I was dumbfounded by my own body's numbness.
As I tried to slowly get out of bed, my legs gave way. The moment I plopped down, the inside of my buttocks burned unbearably. Even without checking properly, it was obvious what state it was in.
"He did it, he did..."
I muttered hollowly. Based on the perceived estimate, it didn't seem like it ended in just one or two times, yet I had slept really soundly.
"Did you enjoy it too?"
I asked, looking down at my dejected lower half. There was no way for an answer to come back. I only knew by feeling. Judging by the fact that it didn't feel particularly refreshed, it was clear the bastard had also passed out like me. *Damn that Zhenya bastard. So he had all the fun by himself.*
My throat was dry. I went to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. The inside was completely empty. I was grateful that at least a few bottles of water were rolling around. I opened the cap and gulped it down in one go. Each time my Adam's apple bobbed, the skin around my neck, which had been bitten all over, stung sharply.
Wiping my wet lips with the back of my hand, I surveyed the house. It felt exactly like being in a model house. Although the bed, sofa, and television were all in place, there was absolutely no sense of lived-in warmth. I wondered if it had been properly used since purchase.
I flopped onto the sofa, which reeked distinctly of leather. *Where the hell did the bastard go?* It was clearly a weekday, but I was sure he hadn't gone to the embassy.
Since vaguely waiting for him seemed pointless, I turned on the television. The noon news was broadcasting. Watching it absentmindedly, I suddenly remembered Mother. Come to think of it, I had told her I'd be late, but I hadn't contacted her even as the day changed.
I immediately returned to the bedroom to find my phone first. The remaining battery was less than 10%. As expected, there were missed calls from Mother and messages asking where I had slept and if I had gone to work okay. I pressed the call button. Not long after, Mother's voice saying, "Hello?" came through.
"Mother, it's me. I drank too much yesterday, so I couldn't come home. Typical Russian, wouldn't let me go until dawn. I went to a sauna and went straight to work."
"Oh dear. You couldn't even have hangover soup."
"I'm about to eat now."
"Sigh, how much did you drink that your voice is so hoarse? Aren't you tired?"
The reason for my hoarse voice was different, but even with ten mouths, I couldn't say it. I just blamed everything on the alcohol and reassured Mother that I'd come home early.
Around the time I was finishing the call, I sensed a presence at the entrance. Turning my head to look, I saw Zhenya just entering the house. He was holding a heavy plastic bag, as if he had been to a convenience store.
The bastard put what he bought on the table and stared intently at Kwon Taekjoo. Somehow, his face seemed even shinier than yesterday. Finishing the call, I approached him.
"Did something good happen last night?"
"Maybe because it's been so long since I last plugged in? It felt tighter than before. I only intended to do it twice, but because of your holes..."
Without any sense of shame or change in expression, he blabbered on. Unable to listen any longer, Kwon Taekjoo covered his mouth. Then the bastard promptly gave my palm a deep lick. After firmly supporting Kwon Taekjoo's waist and blocking his retreat early on, he pressed his lower abdomen tightly against Kwon Taekjoo and grabbed his buttocks firmly.
"If you're unsatisfied, we can start again from now. A day is very long."
"Trying to fully enjoy that long day will only shorten my lifespan."
I resisted, pushing away the chin of Zhenya, who clung to me stubbornly. The bastard easily lifted Kwon Taekjoo like that and sat me on the table. In the process, the things bought from the convenience store scattered noisily. Some of them rolled onto the floor with a clatter.
*Without even knowing it, I was swept away, and my heartbeats and pulse often became irregular.*
Reflexively, I looked back at the fallen items, but Zhenya grabbed my chin and turned my face toward him. Suddenly, my vision was filled with the bastard's face. The gaze looking straight down at me seemed quite serious. *He always looks at me like that.* That innocent-looking daytime face repeatedly disarmed me. This time was no different. My heart softened prematurely, and the strength drained from my hands pushing Zhenya away. Sensing that change like a ghost, the bastard slowly brought his lips close. As his firmly pressed lips parted, a pitiful sigh escaped. At a distance where our noses almost touched, Kwon Taekjoo stared at Zhenya's lips, and Zhenya stared at Kwon Taekjoo's eyes. The faintly escaping breaths trembled uncontrollably.
In the strange standoff, the bastard attacked again, locking lips. In response, biting the bastard's upper lip, I cupped his face. Naturally, my body leaned back halfway, ending up almost hanging onto the bastard. With a *smack, smack* sound, our lips repeatedly parted and tangled again. Warm breath was exchanged numerous times between the softly crossing and locking lips. Heat gradually rose in our touching bodies as well.
