Code Crossing
PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application "Code Crossing"
("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use it.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. SUMMARY
Code Crossing is a single-player logic puzzle game. We do not require an
account, we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any
other information that directly identifies you. The only data involved is a
limited set of technical identifiers used to keep the App working and to
understand aggregate performance, plus your game progress, which is stored
locally on your device.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Information you provide
We do not collect any personal information that you actively provide. The
App has no sign-up, no login, and no contact forms.
b) Information collected automatically
When you use the App, a limited set of technical data may be collected:
- Device identifiers, including the device's advertising identifier
(Advertising ID) and similar app/device identifiers.
- Basic technical and usage information (such as app version, device type,
operating system version, and general interaction/diagnostic events).
These identifiers are collected ephemerally — they are used transiently for
the purposes below and are not used to build a persistent profile of you.
c) Information stored on your device
Your game progress (completed levels, stars, streaks, selected theme, hint
usage, and similar preferences) is saved locally on your device only. This
data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. Uninstalling the App
removes it.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information described above only to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App's features.
- Measure aggregate performance, stability, and usage (analytics), so we
can fix problems and improve the game.
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and technical errors.
We do NOT use this information for personalized advertising, and we do NOT
sell it.
4. SHARING OF INFORMATION
We do not sell your information. Limited technical/analytics data may be
processed on our behalf by third-party service providers (for example,
mobile analytics or attribution services) solely to perform the purposes
described in Section 3. These providers are permitted to use the data only
as needed to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information
if required to do so by law or valid legal process.
5. ADVERTISING IDENTIFIER
The App may access your device's Advertising ID for analytics and app
functionality purposes. You can reset your Advertising ID or limit its use
at any time through your device settings:
- Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads (or Settings › Google › Ads).
Resetting or opting out does not stop the App from working.
6. DATA RETENTION
Any technical/analytics data associated with your device is retained only as
long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy and is
automatically deleted within 90 days. Game progress stored locally remains on
your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
7. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the
limited data involved. However, no method of transmission or storage is
completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is intended for a general adult audience and is NOT directed to
children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your
jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children under
13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the
App, please reach out via the channel in Section 11 so it can be removed.
9. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your data, such
as the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because the App does not
collect information that identifies you personally, and because game data is
stored only on your device, you can exercise the most important controls
directly:
- Reset or limit the Advertising ID in your device settings (Section 5).
- Clear the App's local data or uninstall the App to remove game progress.
10. INTERNATIONAL USERS
The App may be used worldwide. Where limited technical data is processed, it
may be handled in countries other than your own. By using the App, you
understand that such processing may occur in accordance with this Policy.
11. CONTACT
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us through
the App's listing page on the Google Play Store, using the developer contact
option shown there.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will
revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes
take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
