The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Pastoral Livelihoods Resilience Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Construction of Diversion weir in Afambo woreda of Afar Regional State.
The Regional Pastoral Livelihoods Resilience Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following described works.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods. Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants January 2011 revised July 2014, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs1.6 and 1.7setting for the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement & Property Administration Directorate, Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Pastoral Livelihoods Resilience ProjectFederal Project Coordination Unit and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday during office hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr only).The method of payment will be Cash.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 A.M on June 23/2020. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below 10:30 A.M on 10:30 A.M on June 23/2020.
All bids must be accompanied by a "Bid Security" of ETB, or equivalent in any easily convertible currency in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee.
