Coach Arteta has voiced his reaction after midfielder Gabriel Magalhaes was dropped from Brazil's squad for the 2022 World Cup.

Despite playing well in the early part of this season, Gabriel Magalhaes was not included in the Brazil squad for the 2022 World Cup. Gabriel's two Arsenal teammates Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli both won places. But coach Arteta believes the 24-year-old can bounce back from this disappointment and use it as an incentive to keep going.

“For Gabi Magalhaes, it was a disappointment. But when you look at the squad they have and the experience they have in that position, you have to understand that it's a challenge for Gabriel.
He needs to be ready for the next tournament. He needs to improve and continue to do the good things he's doing."
Gabriel Magalhaes is still waiting for his first appearance for the Brazilian team. This is one of the teams that are considered to be the top candidates for the World Cup championship in Qatar. More experienced players like Dani Alves or Thiago Silva were given a chance at this World Cup instead of Gabriel Magalhaes.
Despite losing his place in the World Cup with Brazil, Gabriel Magalhaes has nothing to be upset about. That opens the door for the 24-year-old to focus on Arsenal's games. Currently, the London team is holding the No. 1 position in the Premier League and is also present in the 1/8 round of the Europa League.
