I’d been to Caliente’ as a Single Female I had been in a car accident so had a hole in my chest lost my breast So I was intimidated by the Ad full of sexy and in great shape individuals but I will tell You a long time Resident and his Wife were SO positive accepting and took Me under their wing - I felt like I was truly SAFE and not being judged I was even given a Shirt by the Som of the original Owner Founder and promised to return It took Me a while but I did return was reconstructed and a date invited Me to go have a drink with him at the Piano bar It was fabulous and even more seductive and sexy plus so many types and diversity plus many truly there to dance enjoy being free to roam nude no judgements and the place was clean and truly feels like a RESORT it’s upscale appearance should not intimidate you to visit it There’s a lot of space so you’re not piled in one spot You can chill on your own with your honey or be more in the center I liked the steam showers were for both sexes plus the night ambiance is truly well done It’s erotic but NOT raunch It’s refreshing to see Single Males because as a single woman it’s good to mingle without always feeling like it’s couples only type place It’s definitely Adult but that’s how it’s advertised and it’s not vulgar nor creepy Like some place in North Georgia Caliente’ is run without the dictatorship of any one person You’re able to pick and choose your friends and it’s security there I definitely LOVE ! In today’s society and I’m some bad experiences in the rural area of another club - I feel great knowing there detectors and plenty of security around It’s a place I’d like to move into actually ( My only little complaint is they allowed some of the members from another nudist place to be there after they’d written bad about Caliente’ ) I feel like if they’ve bad mouthed or slandered the club they shouldn’t be allowed to be there advertising another club - or trying to cause drama to Caliente’ members Other than that I tell everyone that asks Me about My Nudist Community experiences I tell them GO to Caliente’ they are definitely THE Classiest but very fun and chill also ! I can’t wait to go back ! …

We've tried to cultivate the resort to be a welcoming place, and the members and visitors are one of the main pieces of this puzzle. It's place where someone from any walk of life, corner of the world, or orientation can come and enjoy themselves. this was our first visit to Caliente. Based on some of the other reviews, we had somewhat low expectations, having read about the need for updating in some of the lodging, weeds, pools that need attention, etc. Our experience was a very pleasant surprise in that we found the resort to be delightful in many aspects! Lodging. Our visit was a last-minute decision, and all the hotel rooms were booked over the weekend. A two bedroom unit, B105, was available so we took that. Frankly, we were blown away with how nice it was when we entered, having had somewhat low expectations. The condo was beautifully appointed, had great accent lighting in furniture, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was impeccable, and the lake view out our little porch was delightful. The only, and I do mean the only comment I would have about the condo is that the little screened in porch gets very hot and stuffy. It would be nice if the owners would install a simple portable box fan. Staff. We found that the entire staff, from the man at the security checkpoint, to the security guys at the clubhouse, to the front desk, to the security staff, were consistently polite, helpful, friendly, and respectful. This was a very pleasant surprise and we felt very welcome. Pool. The big swimming pool, which seems to be the main gathering point, was a festive place where we found conversation flowed freely amongst the guests, and was a festive and fun atmosphere. Restaurant. The white tablecloth restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. We did not think it was particularly overpriced, as some have mentioned. Also, the food was delicious. I ordered the ribs, and was astounded by how delicious they were. My wife ordered a pasta dish, and she too was very well pleased. Amanda, I think with her name, was our server, and she was great. Play room. We ventured into the playroom. Although we arrived on Saturday night, we were not even aware of it then. so, we went there on a Sunday evening, and were disappointed to discover that we were the only people there! Apparently there are large groups of playful people on Friday and Saturday night, but we only stayed for a few moments. We were there long enough to see that it was very comfortable, with wonderful ambience, and a variety of separate and community rooms in which to play. We will return on a better night. As others have mentioned, The only somewhat negative experience we had was because of some creepy single guys who became pastors. One evening, while in the community pool, and “closely“ interacting with another very nice couple, A certain single male appeared poolside relatively close to us, pleasuring himself. We try to ignore him, making no eye contact whatsoever, but as time went on he moved progressively closer and closer. Eventually, he got so close that he was almost within arms reach. At that point, I had to break the spell of the moment, look him directly in the eye and ask him to “give us some space“. He acted like a pouting child, and moved probably 10 feet away where he parked himself for quite some time. The other creepy guy moment began at the lobby bar in the evening. My wife and I were there having a couple of drinks before going to the playroom on Sunday. I went to the bathroom, and when I returned there was a single guy talking to her. That is no big deal, and I was neither surprised nor shocked by this. I understand these single guys pay a lot of money to get in there, and so I realize they’re just doing their thing, trying to meet up with whomever. After only about four or five minutes of pleasant conversation with the guy, my wife and I decided to go downstairs to the playroom, and I told the guy that we were headed downstairs. That’s it. No invitation, just a statement of fact that we were going downstairs. He said “OK, I’m going to“. I thought “it’s a free world“, and it is not my place to tell him whether he can or cannot go. He followed us downstairs into the playroom reception area. The playroom attendant was very good about the situation that unfolded. When the attendant saw the guy walking in with us, he told a guy “I’m sorry, but single males are not allowed, unless you are invited and the guest of a couple“. The guy surprised me at that point by saying to the tenant “I’m with them“. I was taken aback by this, looked at the guy with some consternation, and then told the attendant “no, he’s not with us, he simply followed us into the playroom“. The guy then had the audacity to look directly at my wife and say “well then, why don’t we just ask her if she wants me to join you“. That really pissed me off. I turned directly to the guy and said “no, why don’t you ask ME if you can join us?“. And by the way, my answer is “no“. The attendant realized what was happening, and directed the guy to leave. I thought he handled it very well. But aside from those moments, which were not particularly traumatic, we had overall an extremely enjoyable experience a Caliente. We are considering buying a membership, and then routinely driving our RV to the resort. I did not even know they had RV parking until we were there. This would be great for us, as our RV is very comfortable, and will save us money in the long term. I realize that what people consider “great“ is subjective. In our subjective review is that Caliente is a delightful place, very much and oasis in the lifestyle world, and we fully intend to return many times. …

Thank you for the 5-stars and the many wonderful comments. We are so glad you had a great time. We especially thank you for the kind words about our staff, especially how they helped when you had issues. Unlike many lifestyle resorts and clubs we do allow single gentlemen. We have tried not allowing them in the past but many of our Members and Guests enjoy respectful single gentlemen. The key word being respectful. We hoped our pricing structure and a few other actions would reduce some of this behavior. While it has helped we cannot read the minds and intentions of others. Thus when this occurs please tell our security. They will re-educate the individual or remove them...especially when it comes to Rouge. We can't wait to see you again soon and are so thankful to have you as guests and would be thrilled to have you as members when you are ready!!!!

Our first time visiting Caliente but not newbies to clothing optional resorts. Here is my list of pros and cons. I’ll start with the pros first; The pools are so much fun, especially the large pool. Good atmosphere, great live music, great people, great vibe. The nightclub was the best out of all of the clothing op places we’ve been to including Hedo, and both Desire resorts. I love that they start at 8pm and it’s generally busy by 9:30 pm whereas Desire and Hedo don’t get hopping till much later so there is a boring lull between dinner and night life. Saturday night was especially so much fun with the one man band! I told my husband it was my favorite place to dance! The food in the restaurant was great. We ate several meals there and were pleased with all of them. Shout out to Belkis! Even though we did not buy a membership, she is the most personable, sweet person! Everyone was very friendly! We will definitely return for future visits! Now onto the cons: we were told by several of our friends who go to Caliente that the alcohol is watered down. Well, it definitely is. It’s a shame, too, because by the time you pay the day pass, the food, the room etc you at least want to not have to buy double the drinks to get a buzz from what you know you get from one drink. I’m not even a big drinker but it was so obvious that the drinks are watered down. At home near me I order 1 cosmo and I get a pretty good buzz. At caliente 1 cosmo felt like I drank juice. I do have to give credit to the bartenders at the pool though. They are hard workers and I asked them what’s your strongest drink and they said the rum runner bucket. They were not lying. They made the best rum runners I ever had. But all of the other drinks were def watered down, unless you get a shot of Fireball or something similar. But the vodka - def watered down. Please don’t cheat your customers like that because it’s a fun place to visit but expensive as well so it would be nice to get the actual amount of liquor that you pay for. (I’ve worked in plenty of restaurants so I know for a fact that this is not uncommon unfortunately). That was literally my only complaint hence why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. …

Thank you for the many kind words. We are glad you had a great atmosphere in which to enjoy your wild side. We are sorry you felt the drinks were weak. We certainly do not water down our drinks. We are sorry you feel that way. We recognize that we have many new bartenders and they may not have made a drink to the best of their ability...that is always a possibility in a high turnover industry. Nor have we ever had that as a review comment. We recognize we are not always perfect and by the sounds of your Rum Runner description we got it right there. Our Food & Beverage manager is outstanding. If you ever notice that again please ask to see him at the front desk. We are always happy to fix a problem in the moment to help you better enjoy your time with us.

We became members when they opened in 2004 but over the years with the membership fees more then 3 times we along with many others got priced out now we just go occasionally would be nice if they offered a discount membership fee for older couples who supported them from the start
