American YouTuber whose Cloveress ASMR channel gained a following for its humorous, often tongue-in-cheek ASMR videos. She also ran a non-ASMR comedy channel called Cloveress.
She began posting ASMR videos in January 2016.
The videos on her ASMR channel earned more than 3 million views.
She was born Natalie Annabelle White and raised in the United States.
Her second channel featured videos about popular YouTubers like LeafyIsHere and iDubbbzTV .

Hey everyone. I’m IndigoStars (known as Indi/Indigo/Lisa to most) and I’m hoping to generate some attention for the passing of a massive creator of the ASMR community, The Cloveress.
Natalie White (Cloveress) passed away the 21th of September 2019. I only found out later by chance and was shocked to see basically no coverage on the topic. When she was alive, she was talked about constantly by many and now her death has been going mostly unnoticed.
Some might know her for her meme content, some for her artistic projects and some as a sweet, genuinely loving and passionate girl that unfortunately had to deal with terrible things in her young life. Regardless, I believe she deserves to be remembered, especially within the community she was a huge part of.
I created a video to serve as a tribute and an inspiration to others to finally speak about her. |
In it I explain my desire for people to share their memories, thoughts and feelings about Natalie/Cloveress through any means they wish. This could be a video, audio, music, art, poetry or just posts to their platforms. I use the #ForNatalie as a base but all that matters to me is just to make sure she isn’t forgotten and her legacy not swept under the rug.
Even with my video many of the comments where of people finding out just now that she had passed at all, which really saddened me. She was known to take hiatus’ but I think it has more to do with the lack of people talking about her.
There have been tragic moments in the ASMR community before and in those times we came together to communicate and share support. Hopefully we can do this again, for Natalie.

This makes me wonder about other ASMRtists that have 'gone missing' for a while, for example Springbok or OceanHeart. I hope they're ok.
Springbok had a baby. Considering that terrifying stalking experience she went through it's not surprising at all that once she had a kid she wanted to remove herself from the internet in general.
I wonder where OceanHeart went as well. =( She was amazing.
OceanHeart does have a twin sister, /u/oceanstwin , that does ASMR though. This is her channel.
AllTingles for me. Considering his admission at a certain point of how he tended to feel, I worry about what happened to him.
Yeah there are a couple somewhat small time ASMRtists that i wish i had closure to.
The ASMR Cat was amazing and had successful videos but suddenly started posting less gave somewhat of an explanation video and then seemingly quit entirely.
God watching the progression of her videos was like watching a car wreck in slow motion. I stopped watching because you could literally hear the panic in her voice in some of her videos and it was becoming sad. In one hastily made video she sounded like she was on the verge of tears the whole time. With every new video it was like more of her life was falling apart.
The world just mercilessly ate her alive.
I was a big fan of Natalie’s comedic ASMR videos. She was really funny and entertaining.
Cloveress had a reputation online as a shitposting memelord, but she was also a genuinely talented content creator with dreams of entering the film industry. Her Life is Strange ASMR video is beautifully made. She obviously put a lot of work and effort into it.
Was the drug she overdosed on ever disclosured?
I've heard it was cocaine (reported by her bf who was allegedly with her as she died) but I haven't been able to get any official confirmation.
God I was so heartbroken when I heard. It's infuriating seeing some asmrtists who grilled her/heavily criticised her out of the "kindness of their heart' or they were 'just worried' about the stuff she was doing be silent during this.
She didn't deserve this treatment. We will miss her.

Apparently she had struggled with substance abuse, and according g to her boyfriend on Twitter she overdosed in her sleep. At least she went calmly, in her sleep.
Completely off topic but did you write this on a Samsung Galaxy? My phone also has an annoying habit of putting a "g" after a word ending in "ing", just like your comment.
I had no idea this happened, thank you for making this and may she rest in peace.
Is that guy the same as the ex bf who always harassed her on Snapchat with hundreds of different names? If it is, he actually might have done more than the story tells...
