Since the start of Bitcoin in 2008 in the midst of the global financial crisis, the value and adoption of cryptocurrency has exploded and has thus received great media, political and public attention. But with such increased exposure, there are still many challenges facing adoption and the use of cryptocurrency practically every day beyond what many people consider to be speculative investment.
To overcome this problem, Cloverdex aims to offer a cryptocurrency trading platform for beginner and advanced traders by incorporating innovative crypto economic concepts, technological technical knowledge, and educational concepts. - Crypto currency exchanges are vulnerable to hacking and internal fraud due to a lack of security and funding focus.
- Liquidity - not having enough people trading on the exchange produces greater difficulties in trading, higher asset costs for investors, and difficulties in attracting incoming funds.
- Transparency - Hidden trade costs and charged commissions result in higher investor costs and a lack of trust.
- Compliance - customers are hesitant to enter the cryptocurrency market because of the perceived uncertainty in regulations and laws.
- Education - most exchanges are for advanced traders and lack of proper education and easy-to-use tools for novice investors.
- Accessibility of funds - the current solution to bridging traditional payment infrastructure and blockchain-based assets is not smooth and involves high transaction costs either through upfront costs or currency conversion rates, both of which form disincentives to use.
To realize its vision and mission, Cloverdex will create its own Ethereum-based functional token (ERC20) that will provide member price discounts, free EFTPOS debit cards, access to advanced market analysis tools, initial Beta access to platforms, increased trading limits, and more again (will be announced).
Pre-sale of Cloverdex tokens (CLDX) will be launched in mid-December 2018 for a limited group of contributors.
