I love this peg bag! The options for hanging, carrying and wearing are a really good feature. I wear mine around the waist with the flap tucked behind against my body so that it’s easier to get the pegs. The size is really good too. I wasn’t sure if it was going to hold all the pegs I have, but it does. Over 100 pegs for sure. Sadly I just counted mine and I have 140 with room to spare 😂 The stitching is good quality, the strap sturdy as well as the zip. The mesh bottom is a nice feature to so that you don’t end up with a bag full of fluff. Good purchase, worth the money, would recommend, if only it could do the laundry 🤔

I love how well-made and sturdy this product is. The zipper keeps the clothespins in place when not in use and when opened, it’s easy to reach in. It has a heavy duty mesh bottom which allows air to circulate if the pins get wet due to rain or snow. I like how it clips to the line and doesn’t blow off in heavy winds. I’ve had so many clothes pin bags over the years and they either ripped or the hanger has broken or something else has happened to it. This one is the absolute best. I like the versatility in how I choose to either wear it or clip it to the line. There is nothing on this product that can rust. This is a very durable bag that can hold a large amount of pins. It’s definitely worth the money.

I genuinely love this bag! The design and functionality are so thought out in this product, that it’s the perfect clothespin bag to help make hanging clothes so much easier. I wear the bag on me as the waist belt function. Which I love, as no more bending over killing your back to pick up pins or no more searching for the pins on the clothesline. I have to wash a lot of towels on a daily basis. In an effort to somewhat tame my eye-watering utilities bill, I decided to put up a clothes line to pre-dry them before they went into the drier to finish them off. I went to my local big-box store to buy some cable etc. and found I had to explain the concept to the store guy because he didn't know what I was talking about. Oh well, this is L.A. in 2020. After erecting the clothesline (hung between two palm trees!) the whole idea works great. I soon discovered the winds sometimes dictated the use of clothespins and that I'd need a bag of some sort to hold the pins while I was out in the garden hanging up the towels. I thought this would be a simple straightforward purchase but discovered that such a bag was not immediately available. Found this bag and it ticked all the boxes. Reasonable price, too. It is somewhat smaller than you' think, the dimensions are given in the pictures they supply, true, but I'm just commenting on the impression, not the actual measurements. It works great and I'm happy I made the purchase. Makes life easier.

I was leary of getting this. Not for any aesthetic reason. I bought this for my Mom, she has used one of the old-fashioned clothespin bags for her whole life, one of the ones that look like a little dress. She is not one who embraces change, so when her latest bag started falling apart I was hesitant about where I was going to be able to find her a new one. Her sister made them, but she had passed away. I bought her this and told her about it and she did not look enthused :) When it arrived we were both very happy with the design and the way it was made. We also were impressed with the material. It is very thick material and the straps seem to be attached very strongly. It looks like it will last her for much longer than any of the others she has had. I was a little skeptical about the amount of clothespins it could hold, it doesn't look like it could hold as much as it does. I put all of the clothespins she had inside of it and still had room. All in all, we are both very happy with the product and have already recommended it and have been showing it off.

I think this clothespin bag is terrific! First of all, it is sturdy and hold lots of clothespins. Secondly, You have 3 options--hang it on the line, use it with the shoulder strap--like a purse, or wear it around your waist like a fanny pack. I like to use the shoulder strap so that the pins are handy when hanging the clothes up, or the bag is right there to put the pins in when taking clothes off the line. Finally, it looks great. I debated about spending the extra to get the zipper closure and I'm glad I did. It will keep the clothespins dry if it rains making them will last longer. If the bag falls, the pins won't spill out. All in all, a great product.

I really like this clothespin bag. It is sturdy, holds a lot of clothespins, and clips Nicely to the clothesline. You can also slide it along with you as you hang laundry. The only downside is it doesn’t have a cover that you can close over the opening. That would have been nice. Then if it rains and the clothespins are outside they would stay dry.

The smell of fresh air permeating your clothing makes the extra time spent in hanging them outside well worth it. For me, the most awkward part of hanging clothes is having a clothespin readily available as you juggle a wet piece of laundry. The clothespin bag made the process so much easier. The clips on the bag slide freely on the line and the strap works well for easy reach at my waist. I really like that the bottom of the basket is netted to allow water to pass through. The bag is adequate to hold plenty of pins. I do agree with the Amazon rater that suggested attaching a flap. I suggest one that would rest back when in use but that could be easily secured when needed. This would keep out leaves in the fall and make winter storage less precarious. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a really good quality peg bag, but 4 rather than 5 stars because the opening is too large and really needs a zip/Velcro closure. Not sure what size pegs you’d need to use to fit 300 in there, it’s not that big. Also, because the opening is so large, the angle at which the bag sits if you carry it with the shoulder straps means you can’t put too many pegs in as they fall out. A couple of modifications and this bag would be perfect.

Love this peg bag :) Used to use the old-fashioned cotton on a hanger ones, that'd wear out over time. Also, I prefer bigger pegs & they didn't hold enough & would fall off the line as I went along. This is brilliant! It's sturdy, so should last longer (watch this space). The adjustable strap means I can wear it. cross-body, taking the pegs with me, without dropping, as I go. Can't comment on the waterproof capability yet, as I tend to bring it in, but mainly to keep it nice as it's new :) But I like the mesh bottom, means any rain will drain away, so my (wooden) pegs won't rot or stain :) Wish I'd seen, or these had been available years ago!

I love this peg bag, it makes pegging out so much easier when doing it on your own, I was just putting it round my neck and it was hanging straight in front of me but if you are bending down all the time to get the washing out the basket it gets in the way so much better to put it round your neck and slip one arm through like a cross satchel as it stays in place when bending, I also like the fact I can hang it on the line with the clips, hated my traditional old peg bag that just had a hook, as it forever span the wrong way round, with 2 clips this just stays in place facing the right way the whole time, i keep mine indoors but it’s got good drainage if it does get wet outside

The Fifth Start (what happened to the first four, I wonder?) peg bag is well designed by a small Australian company. It's bound to look expensive compared with others, but I'm still pleased with it. I use it with the waist strap, but it's easily adapted to hang round the neck. To my mind it would be improved by a slightly stiffer support at the top to keep it open in use, and the hanging clips are easy to attach to the washing line but fiddly to remove. All in all, a good effort!

Finally a solution to my washing line challenges. I can't speak for the durability of this item, I've not had it long enough, we've not yet been through a winter, but the design is really working for me and the construction backs it up. The bag is big enough for enough pegs without the risk of them falling out, and with a mesh base they shouldn't end up sitting in water (and I hope this might mean no rusting of metal or blackening of wood or bamboo. The options to use it as an adjustable cross body bag or double clipped to the washing line are both useful.
