A series of double portraits by London-based photographer Alan Powdrill gives insight into tattoo culture. After meeting his subjects through tattoo conferences and social media, Powdrill set about documenting not just their clothed/unclothed selves, but inquiring into what tattooing means to them. COVERED opens at Mother in London November 11th. More images below.
