Hitting a little too close to home. Jana Kramer opened up about Adam Levine’s cheating scandal apology to wife Behati Prinsloo — and why it was difficult for her to digest.
“I am over the stuff that happened [to me], but it’s still very triggering when something comes up,” Kramer, 38, said during the Sunday, September 25, episode of her Whine Down podcast . “I was pregnant when my ex [ Mike Caussin ] cheated. To hear these words — ‘My wife and my family is all I care about in this world’ — That was always my big issue in my marriage. How am I? How? When? Before or after when you said ‘You’re the hottest girl in the world to some other women.”
The One Tree Hill alum had a notoriously rocky relationship with her ex-husband. The pair — who share daughter Jolie, 6, and son Jace, 6 — tied the knot in 2015. After six years of ups and downs, Kramer called it quits for good in 2021. The two have been vocal about their relationship issues throughout the years, including various incidents where Caussin, 35, admitted to cheating on Kramer with multiple women. In 2019, the athlete revealed that he had a sex addiction.
Following allegations earlier this month that Levine, 43, cheated on a pregnant Prinsloo — and the Maroon 5 frontman’s subsequent apology — Kramer opened up about how any public scandal hits a personal nerve.
“Not trying to make this about me or anything, but I feel like when someone cheats or is inappropriate, their apology is what triggers me the most,” she explained, adding that the rocker’s “sorry” felt eerily similar to Tristan Thompson’s apology to ex Khloe Kardashian .
The country crooner also took issue with Levine’s specific word choice — specifically when referring to how he would “never” make the same mistake again.
“The ‘never’ really bothers me too,” she shared, revealing that she, too, had made indiscretions in her past. “I don’t agree with the phrase ‘once a cheater always a cheater,’ because I was a cheater in my ‘20s. I have cheated on a few relationships. Not proud of that at all. I see now why I did certain things, I’ve dissected that piece of me, but I can’t say — I don’t think I could do that ever again — but I can’t say ‘never,’” she explained.
Allegations surrounding the Voice alum began earlier this month when Sumner Stroh claimed she had a lengthy affair with the lead singer. The vlogger claimed that she hadn’t heard from Levine in months when he suddenly messaged her to ask if he could name his baby Sumner. Prinsloo, 34, is currently expecting her third child with the Begin Again star. The couple also share daughters Dusty, 6, and Gio, 4.
Following Stroh’s confession, other women came forward claiming Levine sent them “flirty” messages. Comedian Maryka uploaded screenshots of her own alleged exchanges with Levine via her Instagram Story on September 20, while Alyson Rose alleged in a since-deleted TikTok that she had “a lot” of screenshots from her conversations with Levine but claimed she wasn’t “comfortable posting everything” Levine sent her. Alanna Zabel and Ashley Russell also came forward with claims.
Stroh, for her part, issued a public apology to Prinsloo. “I fully realize I’m not the victim in this. I’m not the one who’s really getting hurt here,” she said in her second TikTok post. “It’s Behati and her children, and for that, I’m so, so sorry.”

“Don’t try it, little boy.” This wise motto was once spoken by the great scholar Coco Montrese , but for eight years, four little boys have taken the exact opposite approach, crafting an entire media empire out of, well, trying it. But for the first time since their early BuzzFeed days, the Try Guys have split up the original band. “Ned Fulmer is no longer is no longer working with The Try Guys,” the YouTubers, who left BuzzFeed in 2019, posted to their Twitter account on September 27. “As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together. We thank you for your support as we navigate this change.”
What on earth happened? For starters, the four Guys who make up the group are Fulmer, Zach Kornfeld, Eugene Lee Yang, and Keith Habersberger. Rumors swirled on Twitter and Reddit on September 26, asserting that Fulmer, whose whole deal is being a wife guy, was cheating on said wife, Ariel. Ariel herself exists in the Try Guys universe as one of the Try Wives, who have their own podcast and YouTube series, “Try Wives Wine Time.” Fans suspected that he was having a dalliance with Try Guys producer Alex Herring. Recently, Fulmer was edited out of videos, and after the news broke that the group was going in a new direction, he posted an apology to Instagram. “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship,” it reads. “I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel.” He then adds that he will focus more attention on his marriage and children.
Ariel also posted to her own Instagram, asking for privacy. It’s a morality tale the internet keeps having to learn again and again: Don’t bestow made-up values on parasocial celebrity relationships , and don’t make “wife guy” your whole personality.

Kanye West is gearing up for his divorce from Kim Kardashian . TMZ reported that he made a significant move in their divorce proceedings by hiring a new lawyer. According to the publication, West hired the same attorney who represented Melinda Gates in her divorce from Bill Gates.
West has hired a number of attorneys amid his multi-billion-dollar divorce from Kardashian. This time, he has hired Robert Stephan Cohen of Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich LLP. Cohen has not only represented Melinda Gates, but he has also worked with Chris Rock, Rupert Murdoch, and Athina Onassis. The attorney is the sixth that West has hired throughout his divorce battle.
The rapper has also hired a seventh lawyer — Nicholas A. Salick of Salick Family Law Group, APLC. Since Cohen is based in New York and the divorce is taking place in Los Angeles, West had to hire an attorney that is based in California, Salick, to represent him in the state. West and Kardashian's divorce has been an ongoing battle for some time. Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband in February 2021. Since there has been no end in sight to the legal drama, Kardashian petitioned the court to declare her legally single. The court ruled in her favor in March and "West" was also dropped from her legal name at that time.
In April, Kardashian opened up about their split during her appearance on Dear Media's Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, per PEOPLE . She said that after she initially filed for divorce, she and West, who share four children together, did not speak for eight months. The reality star explained, "I mean, he would still see the kids and stuff. Him and I just took a minute of not talking. And I think in relationships, it'll be like that. I hope we, you know, are the co-parenting goals at the end of the day." Even though there has been plenty of drama between the pair since their split, Kardashian said that they still "have so much love for each other."
"We really do. We're always family, we're always going to have so much love and we love our kids," she said. "We both love the time we spent together. You know, I think that we'll always have that and always cherish that. Sometimes it just doesn't work out for whatever reasons, but no matter what, I always just think of like the positive times."

Adam Levine openly admitted that he doesn't adhere to monogamy in an interview from before his marriage to Behati Prinsloo and the new cheating allegations.
Adam Levine , 43, admitted to cheating over a decade before he was accused of being unfaithful to his wife Behati Prinsloo , 34. “Instinctively, monogamy is not in our genetic makeup,” the Maroon 5 frontman told Cosmopolitan in 2009, five years before he married Behati, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child . “People cheat. I have cheated,” Adam also said. “And you know what? There is nothing worse than the feeling of doing it.”
Adam’s comments from 13 years ago have gone viral following the recent accusations that he cheated on Behati. On Sept. 19, Instagram and OnlyFans model Sumner Stroh claimed that she had a year-long affair with the “Misery” singer. Sumner also shared alleged messages that she received from Adam, who allegedly asked Sumner if he could name his third child after her. Adam denied having a physical affair with Sumner, though he did admit to acting “inappropriate.”
“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life,” the singer’s statement read. Adam also said, “To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”
Three more women have come forward with their own allegations about flirtatious messages that they allegedly received from Adam. Alanna Zabel , who said she was Adam’s yoga instructor between 2007 and 2010, claimed that the former The Voice judge sent her a “flirty text” during that time period. In the text, Adam allegedly told Alanna that he wanted to “spend the day” with her “naked.” HollywoodLife reached out to Adam’s rep about these new accusations, but we have not yet gotten a response.
Behati has not addressed the allegations about her husband publicly yet. The couple was photographed picking up their children Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace , 4 , from school on Sept. 20, the day after news broke about Adam’s alleged affair. Behati and Adam had smiles on their faces in spite of all the drama that’s going on.
