Classic WoW Server Queue Times (EU)

So, Shazzrah's capacity is higher than Mograine's? Or is there something wrong with the average wait time?

I think it's a joke to expect anything else. All experienced players told you this was going to happen. Blizzard themselves warned us this was going to happen and why. This is what happens with games on popular launches.

I would agree with you but current problem is that too many ppl changing realm just because of queues. so realms which were low/mid are now full with queues. Wow servers all over adding more realms because they see that but just adding won't solve it. Guess it will take couple of weeks till hype from clasic will drop down and population will stabilize @normal.

Can confirm Gehennas queue time lmao, been sitting in the queue since 11 AM this morning and it's now almost 6 PM. Still not in.

Ironic, I was on Shazzrah at first and moved over to Gehennas because Blizzard urged Shazzrah players to move to Gehennas when it came out 10-ish days ago.

I don't get this, how can there be a 2500 man queue on a medium server. I guess something is wrong with the loggin servers or something, they are prolly not letting more ppl in atm because they are afraid the server will go down.

If you only could login to both retail & classic you could play some retail while waiting for classic ... but no, you can't do that :(

9k players is not 188 minutes wait time.

I got in at 14h and I was at 17k queue

Now it's 19h and I am still stuck at 5600 queue.

Increase server capacity PLEASE. Why are we not able play BFA while waiting for classic? They are different games

I think it's a joke to cry about getting vanilla and when you get it in the exact same form as it was be a &*!@# about it

5-hour long queues weren't much of a thing, as far as I can remember. Server lag was. (but we actually aren't seeing any of that right now, which is great)

The real joke is that Blizzard created this issues themselves, by only adding in a minuscule number of realms to accommodate players at the start and then expanding that list, instead of adding many and later merging them as necessary.

It's like they did not anticipate or prepare for the massive number of players, even though Classic is one of the most hyped releases this year.

They provided their logic on many occasions as to why they were conservative with number of realms, and I think they made the right decision. This way, people are only pissed off in the first few days of launch but it'll be better for us after things calm down.

With your method of more realms sooner it would have been a smoother launch but worse after things calmed down. Merging is inconvenient and awkward and should be a last resort, not your standard tactic.
