Anywhoodles my finger/hand joint pain & laxity kept gettin worse over the last two weeks to the point I couldn’t lift a glass/hold my phone anymore. I had to do something bcs I literally couldn’t work at all but I also couldn’t afford #ringspints which were the only thing I knew that could help. BUT THEN A DIY LIGHTBULB WENT OFF and I hobbled some together w worbla, craft foam, & kt tape. Not the prettiest/super long lasting but def HELPS LOADS. The DIY MacGyvered ring sprints have taken my pain from fingers slammed in a door to mostly manageable & increased functionality back up to being able to do basic care tasks (like feed and wash myself nbd), so major win, woooot!
PS I’ve started doing a video diary thing (if you wanna have more chill hangs w me & unwind at the end of the day) - they’re AVAILABLE TO ALL PATRONS (even $1 tier) bcs I don’t want the community to be behind an inaccessible paywall for anyone

PPS Been a real rough week of strenuous/draining medical tests and appointments. I’ve had one everyday this week and it seems like all I’ve done is prep for them, try and get through them without hurling or crying, and then just horizontal haze owwy the rest of the time bcs this is clearly not helping the flare… But long term I know the appts are helpful it’s just frustrating when they’re not doing much right now (it’s all more referrals or ruling out more things so far) except using up what little ability I have to catch up on work 🙃
Plus on top of that I’ve been doing shoot prep for this weekend, and my Caticorn shoot in a couple weeks which I still have the whole cosplay to make haha so you could say my stress levels aren’t the lowest but I'mma keep swimming #spoonie
