I’ve been spending a lot of time reviewing the escort listing directories published on the Internet. No, I’m not doing this because I like to hire escorts. In fact, I’ve decided to do this so that you don’t take action and do something you regret. Today I’m covering a site called Cityvibe. There’s plenty of reasons why you need to stay away from cityvibe.com. The good news is that you’re reading this now and you will know all the reasons why you should refrain from using the escort directory.
There are a couple of things that I hate about this site. While I could sit here and rant about this for days, I’ve opted to only cover the most important reasons within this review.
I hate the way this site is designed. The Cityvibe user interface is way too similar to Backpage and I believe that they did this on purpose. They’ve designed it similar to Backpage and Craigslist designed as a way to make the surfer feel more comfortable when browsing the site. Reason being, they know that the consumers are more likely to use it if they make them feel comfy.
Some people still have no idea what the heck CityVibe is. For those curious, this is a poor excuse for an escort directory. Yes, you heard that right, I said poor excuse because it’s nothing but a waste of time. I’ll fill you in on why too.
For starters, the website claims to represent 400+ cities and the escorts within those cities. However, strangely enough, there are only 76 escorts available right now to connect with. That’s an absurdly low number considering how widespread they claim to be.
One thing I really hate about this site is that they do not prominently display their privacy policy or terms of service. When a site doesn’t display their policy copy or terms and conditions then you better run like the wind! When you finally find that text and you dig into it, you quickly realize that this site is ridiculous and the terms are not fair. Why does CityVibe likely hide this information from you? Well, they don’t want you to know the truth and all the things that they will do just to save their butts from a legal perspective.
I took a closer look at the city pages and learned that they were pretty horrible and lacked substance. I mean, when you visit an escort directory showcasing girls in New York City, you expect hundreds of listings, not 58! That’s exactly the number of girls shown in NYC when I did this search.
When you first land on these city pages, you’ll notice that the entire top row is nothing but banners showcasing ads for other sites. Things like free cams, milfs, sugar daddy dating and more. I thought the whole purpose of using this CityVibe site was to avoid banners completely? I guess I was wrong. Do yourself a solid and do not click on any of these banners, please.
I took a closer look at the cityvibe escorts models in NYC and quickly realized that the girls were fake and that they looked nothing like the real girls who show up for the outcall services. How do I know? Well, I did some cop-like detective work and determined that most of the images were did not look unique, genuine, or legit.
There is no verification process built in here and if you’re planning on using this site to connect with girls, then you’re clinically insane. I’ve never heard anyone tell me that something good came out of connecting with unverified hookers. Let’s just leave it at that.
The Cityvibe.com directory is a total waste of time. If you’re planning on connecting with girls posting ads on this site, then you’re making a huge mistake. I’ve spent hours researching and can confidently say that in my professional opinion, this site is a complete waste of time and money. You will not meet a legit hooker here. Instead, you’ll end up meeting some crackhead most likely. If you want to get laid that bad, then stop using these escort sites that overcharge and just join a scam-free sex site that works!

At one time, CityVibe was the most safe and reputable place to find NSA fun. Ads were open and honest. You could easily find reviews of the girls and services you see advertised. You never got a bad experience or felt cheated. CityVibe served a great purpose and helped make the sex industry a cleaner, safer place. Unfortunately, because of despicable crimes like human trafficking and forced prostitution, places like CityVibe don’t last long. We are so new to the fight against human trafficking, many of the laws and bills we have enabled are not working as we hoped, but instead making things worse. CityVibe, and other sites like it , have paid the price for this inexperience.

CityVibe was once the go-to place for a night with a beautiful escort. You could be safe and confident in your exchange and feel good about the whole experience. It was easy to find the perfect date amid all the large glossy photo ads. The first sign of trouble in what happened to CityVibe was their redesign. Twitter was ablaze in early 2013 when users began to log on to find CityVibe looked exactly like Backpage.com. In an effort to be less conspicuous and not seem to be aiding in the sex trade, they revamped the sight and users had to slog through ads for auto sales and home rentals to find an escort ad. Not only that, but their VIP ads were the most heavily pushed. Users didn’t appreciate all the new changes.
Next on the horizon was some legal trouble for CityVibe when they were sued by Slixa, the company whose VIP ads CityVibe copied theirs from. When news began to spread, many users thought they were being sued by Backpage for the obvious rip-off of their format, or by the review company that they modeled their review page after. Slixa is newcomer to escort advertising and their taking the industry by storm and earning a ton of good will in the escort industry.
With sites like Slixa and Eros catering to upscale escorts CityVibe was losing its appeal. It was to hard to dredge through the sludge to find what you were looking for. Eros ran the show for many years, being the only site to showcase upscale escorts. The one downside was the links to cam girls and other sites. The escorts placing the pricey ads on Eros were none to please at the leads off the site. Slixa came along and realized it was a bad idea and added new features to keep users on the site longer. The gave escorts more bang for their advertising buck, which kept customers forever coming back.

Recent laws and bill put into effect to fight human trafficking have had a harsh effect on the women who chose to engage in the sex trade for a living. It goes without saying that the trafficking of young women and children to sell for sex must be stopped, but the current plan will not curb the epidemic. Websites like Craig’s List, Backpage and others were shut down by the government for enabling ads pertaining to sex trafficking. Escorts have had to seek out other ways to advertise and customers other places to find their dates. Traffickers have simply went on to other methods. Placing both the independent sex worker and the victim of trafficking in more danger.
No one knows for sure what happened to CityVibe. They went through a lot of internal changes which all turned out to be copied from other, similar sites. None of the changes worked and they were losing customers on both sides of the fence. Slixa was seeking a court order to remove CityVibe’s duplicate pages and to stop all further infringement. They demanded CityVibe terminate using Slixa’s branded design . Slixa also demanded compensation from CityVibe for legal fees and further restitution to be decided by the court. It seems that CityVibe just ran into more bad luck than they could handle. Along with some bad internal structure changes and disastrous management decisions, CityVibe could longer hold up.

I know Brianna to be honest and always fair. The ripoff report is completely false. Who would leave their Rolex out to be stolen? Clearly nonsense and the report is serious defamation. The ripoff report should be removed.
First of all this guy is lying, I know this guy for 4 or 5 years before he started harassing me. He would call me frequently to see me. One day that I had a date with him he waited all night for me I was busy and did tell him I would go after, After was then early morning hours, by then I was extremely exhausted. I called him & I was very apologetic and embarrassed for having him wait for me and now was calling to tell him I couldn't make it. I explained that I was so sleepy and I would not be able to drive, I was scared of falling asleep since I had been up all night. He insisted and wouldn't accept that I couldn't make it so again I agreed I would go because I felt that was the only way I can end the phone call. I then put my phone on silent and went to sleep.
Since I didn't go he started posting bad things in different sites. He never even stood at a Standard Hotel, this guy usually is staying at different Hotels in the Orange County area and never a type of Hotel like the Standard, he wouldn't be able to afford it. In the complaint he submit with your site he claims the Standard Hotel in LA and that a Police Report was filled for a Rolex watch and his wallet, WHY IS IT THAT THERE HAS NOT BEEN An INVESTIGATION OF THE FACTS AND CHECKED IF SUCH POLICE REPORT HAS EVER EXIST, He claims he stayed at the Standard Hotel he even gives a date, I bet he has never been a guest of the hotel, nor does any Police report was ever filled, or . A ROLEX? "HOW MUCH IS IT? THAT'S AT LEAST $10,000 dollars, THAT WOULD BE GRAND THEFT" I WOULD THINK THERE WOULD BE AN IMMEDIATE ARREST, and the GOOD THING IS THAT STANDARD HOTEL HAS MANY CAMERAS SO I would be in THE CAMERAS ENTERING THE HOTEL, BUT THE REAL STORY IS I WAS NEVER THERE, I NEVER STOLD ANYTHING, AND NO SUCH POLICE REPORT WOULD EVER BE FOUND BECAUSE IT DOES NOT EXIST.
