Churchill is being replaced by a hedgehog.

Britain is removing Churchill from its banknotes as part of a redesign, Bloomberg reports.

Hedgehogs, badgers, and other wild animals native to Britain will replace historical figures, including the famous World War II prime minister, writer Jane Austen, artist J.M.W. Turner, and World War II codebreaker Alan Turing.

Animals received the most votes, with historical figures coming in third.

I've always considered Churchill as overrated, his goal was to insure the survival of the British Empire but on his watch he bankrupted and collapsed the whole thing
