Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Chris Steele first began working in the gay community in 1992, when he got a job as a cocktail waiter at Michael's Piano Bar (now known as Woody's) in Dallas. Chris quickly rose through the ranks and became general manager for the company that owned Michael's and other establishments in the city.
