Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family members to be born. He attended secondary and primary school, then he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got a BSc. in Architecture.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry when he was an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is now home to millions of associates and followers around the globe.
Through the"Atmosphere of Miracles" series, BLW became Africa's most popular Christian ministry on television. The show was canceled by President Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.
