Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome clan, who instilled her faith in God's grace to her son from the beginning.
The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. Oyakhilome Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which is home several top-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also known by CSO she has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the Gospel of God the world. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained an BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University.
