Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the elder of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God to her son at an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several best-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father's lead of sharing the Word of God to all people. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a gifted gospel singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with an BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he felt God calling him to be a minister to the Lord.

While he was at the university, The Man of God established what would later become one of the largest churches around the world. He started an unassuming prayer group dubbed "Youth for Christ" that would eventually become the most well-known organisation of its type on campus. This could also be the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated, with millions of followers across the world.
The LoveWorld ministry was founded under the leadership of Pastor Chris. It's a leader in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming.
