No-Knead Big Bubble Focaccia I was very excited to try this high-hydration focaccia, which simply means the dough has a lot of water. In fact, this has the highest amount of water used than any other Food Wishes dough. It holds big bubbles in the baked dough and because of the long fermentation time, has a far superior flavor. This is a quick and easy chocolate-fix that the kids and adults will love. It's easy to play around with the ingredients to suit. My family has been making it for years and it's still a fave! Ingredients can be switched up with great results. It's also great with white chocolate and cranberries or crushed peppermints. You can use any nuts in place of the almonds.
It couldn't be easier to make this treat. Just melt chocolate chips and stir in peanuts and marshmallows.
I have made these every year as one of many Christmas treats. My family really loves them, it wouldn't be Christmas without them! Whether it’s getting close to the holidays or you’re just in the mood for something sweet, chocolate candy recipes are always in season.
There are so many different chocolate candy recipes that it’s nearly a monumental task to pick even 20 of the best ones.
There are crunchy recipes, creamy recipes, chocolate and peanut butter recipes, minty chocolate recipes, and more.
With so much to choose from, how can you ever pick the 20 “best” ones? You can’t.
Chocolate sweets are just too delicious to determine which recipes are best.
So instead, I just tried to include a decent variety. Did any of your favorite chocolate candy recipes make the list?
Reese’s Cups were my absolute favorite chocolate candy growing up, so you can imagine my excitement when I learned to make them for myself!
With their rich, slightly crunchy chocolate shells and their creamy peanut butter centers, these homemade peanut butter cups are even better than the ones that come in the orange pack.
Best of all, you’ll only need four ingredients, and they take less than 5 minutes to make.
You can make three dozen of these four-ingredient Mounds candies in 30 minutes, and there’s very little work involved.
The chocolate outsides surround sweet, sugared coconut centers.
If you’re looking for a homemade chocolate candy that tastes just like the candy bar it’s named for, these are the treats for you.
White chocolate may not be true chocolate, but I wasn’t about to leave it off the list.
These gorgeous truffles look like they’d be light and dainty, but they aren’t.
The white chocolate is delicate and light, and the hidden Rice Krispies add an airy bit of crunch, but the thick peanut butter filling is surprisingly hearty and 100% delicious.
With centers made from heavy cream, semisweet chocolate, espresso, butter, vanilla extract, and sea salt, these mocha truffles are rich, decadent, and the perfect mid-day pick-me-up.
They’re sweet, salty, and have just a hint of bitterness (the good kind) from the espresso.
Add a thin, crunchy layer of chocolate around the whole thing, and you’ll have a delicacy that no one will turn down.
Chocolate peanut clusters are the ideal combination of salty and sweet, and crunchy and smooth. They’re also effortless to make.
Slowly melt your chocolate for about 15 minutes, then stir in the nuts.
Then, scoop them out and refrigerate them until they’re hard. That’s all it takes.
If you like the convenience of chocolate peanut clusters but are looking for something chewier, try these chocolate-covered raisins.
You’ll make them precisely the same way as the peanut clusters; only you’ll use raisins instead of peanuts.
Actually, these are even easier because you can melt the chocolate in the microwave instead of the stovetop!
All you’ll need to make your own – far superior to the store-bought variety – Junior Mints is cream cheese, mint extract, powdered sugar, and semi-sweet chocolate.
It takes 45 minutes to make nearly 100 candies, and each one is a chocolatey, minty masterpiece.
These three-ingredient, no-cook Oreo cookie balls are pure cream cheese decadence with a bit of Oreo flavoring thrown in for good measure.
They have thin, slightly crunchy white chocolate shells and soft, super sweet cream cheese and Oreo centers.
They taste so good that you’ll want to eat them all, but they’re a bit rich for that!
Want to know the secret ingredient to make the crunchiest, sweetest, and most toffee-est toffee ever? Saltine crackers!
They’re wonderfully crispy, and their salt pairs flawlessly with the brown sugar and chocolate in the toffee.
Plus, you can make about 40 squares in only 20 minutes.
As overindulgent as it may be, fudge is always scrumptious. And fantasy fudge, or marshmallow fluff fudge, is some of the most scrumptious.
It’s softer and creamier than traditional fudge, and there’s a wonderful nuttiness, as well, thanks to the chopped walnuts.
If you like the idea of fantasy fudge but want an even easier way to make it, use this recipe for rocky road fudge instead.
With only three ingredients – chocolate chips, peanut butter, and mini marshmallows – it takes only 15 minutes to make and is just as tasty, fluffy, and chewy as fantasy fudge.
Plus, if you’re not a fan of crunchy, this one uses peanut butter instead of peanuts.
If you can mix, melt, dip, and decorate, you’ll have no trouble making these gorgeous chocolate-covered Oreos.
Each one is a double dose of chocolatey yumminess with a tasty Oreo cream filling. It doesn’t get much better than that.
If you love chocolate-covered snacks but aren’t a huge fan of Oreos, try these chocolate-covered graham crackers instead.
They’re lovely enough to give as gifts, but their peanut butter chocolate coatings are so delectable, you won’t want to share them with anyone.
Whether you’re looking for fun and quick finger foods for a party or you want to give holiday treats as gifts, these Rolo pretzel buttons are ideal.
There’s no cooking involved – just assembling and melting the chocolates in the oven for about 2-3 minutes.
They’re sweet, salty, crunchy, and creamy, and you can customize them for any holiday by simply changing the color of the M&Ms.
I don’t care who you are or where you’re from. There’s no denying that chocolate-covered pretzels are the classic chocolate candy snack.
If you want to make your chocolate-covered pretzels stand out from the rest, try dipping them in peanut butter before you coat them in the melted chocolate.
It adds a whole other layer of perfection to an already perfect chocolate treat.
These really are old-fashioned peanut butter balls, just like your grandma used to make with shortening, sugar, butter, graham crackers, peanut butter, and chocolate chips.
They’re fat, tasty, and full of all the ingredients that make chocolate-covered treats taste so spectacular. I usually make half following the recipe as-is.
For the other half, I add coarse sea salt since I like my sweets best with a hint of salt included.
If you’re the kind of person who values appearance just as much as flavor, you’ll love these pretzel turtles.
