Her eyes start to get sleepy. Her eyes flicker as the sweet smelling, sleep-inducing odor that was soaked into the folded handkerchief takes effect. Chloroforming seems to be a very popular way to subdue the heroine. It shows up in TV and movies all the time. Of course, what they get wrong most of the time is that it takes quite a while for chloroform to work giving lots of opportunity for the heroine to put up a significant struggle. Often in movies and TV just putting the cloth over the mouth is enough to put her out. Of course, most fetish models know how to extend a chloroform scene. One problem we have as a video producer is that in reality chloroform might keep a heroine out for up to several hours. We want her to wake up much sooner than that so we have to bend reality when chloroform is used in a scene. Some people take the chloroform concept to extreme. They want the heroine constantly being chloroformed over and over again or wearing a chloroform pad or medical gear (or something like that) over her face to keep her out. For the most part I figure everyone should be able to have their own fetish, but I have two problems with the extreme use of chloroform. The first is that I like my heroines to be bound and gagged...and most importantly, they need to be able to struggle. They can't do that if they are asleep. The more important concern is that in real life chloroform can KILL YOU. The concept of forcing a heroine to constantly breath it is unrealistic. That would probably kill her. That is what happens when sleep-inducing drugs are improperly used. That is what happened to Michael Jackson (different drug, same effect). Now I am not saying that this is the intention of those that like the prolonged sleep-induced fetish, but it is real life. My concern about this also stems from getting an e-mail from a couple many years ago that actually wanted to chloroform the woman so she could experience the effect. So people sometimes act on these fetishes. I think using chloroform as a plot devise is great. Such scenes can be a great addition to a bondage video, but in the end I want a bondage video, not just a chloroform video. As always, comments are welcome.
