My second guess would be that the tire is hitting something - what I don't know - but you may want to inspect the wheel well to see if Rolf left his sandwich bag attached to the wheel well some how Also, I do not hear it when I accelerate but I am not sure whether the noise is not present or my engine noise just drowns it out .
