China import introduction
@puffercat - @pfrmedia!!!For free buyout service under 200 yuan for community members, contact telegram @puffercat or group chat @pufferchat. I also offer the service for people outside the community for all kinds of items, not just phones but for that I charge 10 yuan per item, half the price of superbuy's with a beneficial EUR-CNY exchange rate (Revolut). The 200 yuan limit applies to both due to tax risks and exposing myself to potentially getting scammed by offering this service !!!
Q::《《How does one get Chinese devices?
I saw that there is Goofish, Taobao and also proxy services they use for international shipping》》
Yeah I got all of mine by using taobao and xianyu/goofish then forwarding with Superbuy, I have an affiliate link so if you don’t have an account yet, we can both get some credit
I don’t use their buyout service anymore tho, I just buy items myself on taobao and xianyu, taobao is easy to make an account on, xianyu will likely require identity verification which should work as long as you’re outside the EU
If you’re inside the eu then you’re kinda screwed, I had to wait until I went to China to fully activate my xianyu account
If you have revolut/wise/paypal and want to buy cheap devices, like up to 200 yuan, I can do buyout for you at no extra charge :3
For more expensive you’d have to use Superbuy buyout which last time I checked was a flat 20 yuan fee
Tho preferably try to make an account yourself first ig but it’s unlikely to succeed if you’re in the eu
Anyways basically download 3 apps from the App Store/ play store
Alipay, 淘宝 and 闲鱼
First make an Alipay account (everything is in English, go to account page and try to do real name verification with your passport, this will be necessary for Alipay and is the step that often refuses to work in the eu I assume due to privacy laws so turn on a vpn to like Hong Kong maybe otherwise you’ll just get blocked until you connect with a Chinese cell network/get geolocated in China, no clue how they detect it in a vpn-proof way but yeah don’t do the first try on eu ip cause you’ll get blocked likely)
And if that’s done you can easily log into taobao and xianyu with one click by pressing Alipay login
You can bind your cards in Alipay and you’ll use that for payments but if you’re over 18 please for the love of god make a revolut/wise account, you don’t wanna pay an insane yuan exchange rate
And if not then check your banks exchange rates or maybe ask your parents for a revolut <18 acc
And uh there’s an actual mainland China VPN that gives you an actual CN IP behind the great firewall, it has a free plan too but yeah it’s some random company so idk if I would go through passport scanning with it
Maybe use like Mullvad with hk ip for that step
The mainland cn vpn is called transocks穿梭 on AppStore/gplay
