China completes 240-ton reusable rocket engine ignition test
China has recently completed a 200-second ignition test of a 240-ton reusable commercial rocket engine in Shaanxi Province, according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).
The engine is designed for domestic commercial use and is expected to power China’s future large and medium-sized carrier rockets.
