Privacy Policy for Chicken Stack

Chicken Stack is a stacking game published on Google Play by Jan Olszewski. This document explains, in plain language, what happens to information when you play. The short version is that nothing leaves your phone. The longer version follows, because Google Play and several privacy laws expect the details to be spelled out.

Who Is Responsible for Your Privacy Here

The publisher and data controller for Chicken Stack is Jan Olszewski, an individual developer. There is no company behind the app beyond that, and no other party has been given a role in handling information from players. Any question about this policy should go to the address at the end of this page.

What Chicken Stack Does Not Do

It is easier to start with the negatives, since they cover most of the ground:

  • Chicken Stack does not collect personal data. Not your name, not your email, not your location, not your contacts, not your photos, not your device identifiers.
  • Chicken Stack does not use an advertising identifier and does not show advertising of any kind.
  • Chicken Stack contains no third-party software development kits. There is no analytics library, no crash reporting library, no advertising network, and no social login component compiled into the app.
  • Chicken Stack has no accounts, no sign-up, no sign-in, and no profiles.
  • Chicken Stack does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share information with anyone, because there is nothing gathered to share.
  • Chicken Stack does not transmit gameplay data to a server. There is no backend belonging to the app.

The Information That Exists, and Where It Lives

Playing the game produces a small amount of information: your settings and the items you save inside the app. This material is written to the local storage area that Android reserves for Chicken Stack on your own device. It stays there. It is not uploaded, mirrored, backed up to a developer-controlled server, or read by the publisher, who has no technical means of accessing it.

Because the data never travels, there is no transfer of information across borders and no international data transfer mechanism to describe.

Why That Information Is Kept at All

The locally stored values serve one purpose: making the app behave the way you left it. Settings are remembered so you do not have to configure the game on every launch, and saved items are remembered so your progress persists between sessions. The data is not used for profiling, for automated decision-making, for advertising, for measurement, or for any purpose unrelated to running the game on your phone.

Outside Services

There are none. Chicken Stack integrates no external service, platform, or vendor. The only third party involved in the app reaching you is Google Play, which distributes it; Google's own handling of your Play Store activity is governed by Google's privacy policy, not by this one, and is outside the publisher's control.

How Long Data Is Kept

Locally stored settings and saved items remain on the device for as long as Chicken Stack is installed. You control their lifetime entirely. Clearing the app's data through Android's application settings erases them, and uninstalling Chicken Stack removes them along with the app. No copy survives elsewhere, so no deletion request needs to be sent to anyone.

Security Measures

Chicken Stack's protection comes from its design rather than from server safeguards. Data that is never collected cannot be intercepted, breached, or leaked by the publisher. What remains on your device is protected by Android's application sandbox, which prevents other installed apps from reading Chicken Stack's private storage. Keeping your device's operating system updated and its screen lock enabled is the most effective thing you can do to keep local game data private.

Young Players

Chicken Stack is suitable for a general audience, children included. It knowingly collects no personal information from anyone, and that applies equally to users under 13 under COPPA and to users under 16 under European rules. Since nothing is gathered, there is no children's data held that a parent or guardian would need to review or ask to have deleted. Parents with concerns are still welcome to write using the contact details below.

Rights Under GDPR and CCPA

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, along with the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA grant you rights to know what is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.

These rights are fully respected and, in practice, already satisfied. The publisher holds no personal data belonging to you, so there is no file to disclose, correct, port, or erase on request. No personal information has ever been sold or shared, which means an opt-out request has nothing to act upon. The locally stored settings and saved items are entirely within your own control and can be removed at any moment by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

Revisions to This Document

Should Chicken Stack change in a way that affects data handling, this policy will be rewritten before that version reaches Google Play, and the date at the top will be updated. Because the app collects nothing today, any future change would be a meaningful one and will be described honestly rather than hidden in vague wording. Continuing to use the app after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
