I'm not normally a fan of Tex-Mex, but this place is AMAZING. The flautas were literally the best I have ever had in my life (pro tip: dip them in the queso), and the service was excellent. The restaurant and bathrooms were also very clean which was comforting. If you find yourself in the area definitely stop by, you'll be glad you did.
Their margaritas are delicious...oh and the Pollo Poblano too.
Welp... came all the way over for the famous white queso, but picked up my order and it was yellow! Employee explained they were out. I told her I wish she would have told me before I drove all the way over here. Then I was not able to redeem my free queso for checking in on Yelp, said she thinks it was expired and I said no, I just looked this place up. Wanted fajita beef empanadas, all they had was picadillo. I decided to try them... another failure.. they were damn neared burned and greasy! Needless to say I paid for food I didn't eat. Did not like the YELLOW queso. Ended up going to a different taco place down the street... I got everything I wanted there. 1st and last time at Caliente!
Not having all the ingredients on hand to fulfill your full order is something that really disappoints us, Monica.
