My glasses broke while at work. I came here to see if they could fix my glasses and within 5 minutes they had me out the door. Never asked for any payment. Super clean store and everyone was very friendly.
Had my first checkup and prescription with them recently. The staff are a joy to talk to and the doctor is patient and clear. Its an optometrist, so obviously there will be an upsell, but I felt the particular upsells were justified. Desk staff are always pleasant to talk with.
What a great staff! As a new patient I was happy to have a first great visit. Everyone at the front desk was so friendly and helpful and the doctor was easy to talk to and gave some good recommendations. The office is clean and they offer a nice selection of designer frames. The only thing that I didn't care for was the riff-raff from the non-patients coming in off the street either needing to use the bathroom or panhandling for money but I am not going to ding the office for the crazy that comes with living in NY.
Very rude service. Called for contacts and did not have my information in the system even though I went there a week before. I understand things like this happen but after giving the associate all of my information they put me on hold and forwarded me to somebody else. This next person was very rude and told me they have thousands of customers and it's my job to make sure they have my information even though I went a week before. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere with decent service.
Chelsea Vision Associates is the Best eye care specialist team in NYC! I was fortunate to have an updated eye glass and contact exam with the Chelsea team prior to quarantine. I found them by googling, and it worked out well because not only were they in my network, but they were in walking distance from me. However, I was still deciding on new contacts and new glasses when the quarantine began. Thankfully, they were still reachable and operating remotely on a limited basis. I was able to coordinate my one year supply of contacts with my rebate, and it was mailed to me out of state where I was quarantining with family. When they were back in office, they helped me coordinate my new glasses and also had them shipped to me out of state. I'm beyond satisfied with their professionalism and empathy! My contacts and glasses feel and fit wonderfully! I'd like to send a special thank you to Dr. Gross and especially Kim for their excellent work! :)
I was super stretched on time and I was able to look at glasses, make a decision pretty quick, get my eyes checked and be on my way, Kelvin was super insightful and tended to what I wanted in a frame and was able help me with ease! 5/5 - would recommend for getting your eyes checked and frames done! Also, very clean office.
So pleasantly surprised by this place!! Super friendly office staff. Both the man and woman working the front desk yesterday were delightful. Professional, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable doctor. Technologically advanced equipment In and out in less than an hour. Five stars!
I had a fantastic experience. Kelvin at the front desk could not have been more kind, helpful and willing to go above and beyond. He went above and beyond and took it upon himself to rectify an issue with my insurance provider. I am grateful for his help and Dr Gross providing top notch service. The office is brand new, modern, clean and had the best tech to quickly and accurately find the right prescription for me. Thank you for answering all my questions and making my experience a very positive one!
I found Dr. Gross on Yelp and decided to reluctantly book an apt after having eye strain/headaches at work. They were able to get me in on a Saturday in the AM. This was great timing because during the week he was booked out a couple of weeks (this is a great sign to me). Additionally, they have amazing technology here. Dr. Gross and staff were friendly and accommodating while explaining 3-D image of my eyes for a health screening. I got to pick out frames and their prices are relatively cheap to huge brands like Cohens/Sears Optical. I love it here and they just gained a loyal patient!
Wow. Great customer service and so much more than I expected from just a routine eye visit. Great central location, stylist frames, and an extremely helpful staff. The great customer service started well before I even set foot in the actual establishment. The young lady I spoke with over the phone looked up both my vision plans to see what and how much was covered. She was patient and professional and even got me in within a week of making my appointment. My appointment started on time and the Doctor Gross was personable and provided me with additional information during my visit I would normally not have received. And trust me I know I have been getting my eyes checked for years. One thing that completely blew my mind was after my contact examination in which I tried a different type of contacts for my Astigmatism the Doctor then checked to make sure my contacts properly fit on my eyes. Normally after giving you your trial pair they just ask you how you feel and you are on your merry way.But this doctor actually to the time to examine them up close. After my eye exam I got to pick out some frames. The employee Peter was so helpful. I promise he has to be the most patient and helpful I encountered. And he knows his stuff ! I happen to have dual vision insurance and gave me different options in terms of which insurance I should use to cover what. I think I changed my mind about 6 times and he remained professional and pleasant THE ENTIRE TIME. I have been here 2 twice since living in NYC and recommend everyone I know this place.

Hello anyone looking for me. I'm no longer active online, no longer posting or webcamming. I'm retired. I do still have a few accounts, my Twitter is ChelseaVision0 but is private and I don't even post anymore. I have a Facebook account I don't use. The only place to reach me is on MyFreeCams.com under the name ChelseaVision I used to webcam there but haven't in a long time, but I do still check my messages and chat. No I'm not on Instagram. So I think my camcorder just needs a new battery pack. Luckily it takes AA batteries and I have rechargeable ones so hopefully that fixes the problem! :)

I got my camcorder to work but who knows for how long. It doesn't seem to be charging correctly. Anyway, new video!

Ok the server problem has been taken care of. Yay! The webcam set is up. And I think my camcorder is actually charging this time! I think it is anyway. We'll see if it does. I really hope it does! I can't afford a new one...

I'm having so many technical problems right now! I went to take a video today and realized that my camcorder is broken. It wont hook up to charge so I can't use it. So I tried to take a video with my camera and it turned out blurry! I couldn't tell it wasn't focused on the little screen. So I tried to post the video anyway, figuring it's better than nothing and that I'll also put up a webcam set from the video in a day or two...but now that video won't work on my site!!!! ARRGGG! I'm so frustrated right now >_< Hopefully this will be fixed soon, I've already contacted my webmaster about it. I have to save up to buy a new camcorder though so I don't know when my next video will be. Feel free to donate towards a new camcorder for me! ;)
