Pom Poms, hypnotic dancing, frilly outfits, and beautiful ladies combine into a perfect crowd pleaser for any event. Cheerleaders are masters of grabbing attention and entertainment, and only a little duct tape or rope is all it takes to enhance it!
When most people picture a cheerleader, they usually imagine an attractive girl kicking her legs high and swaying her pom-poms to the marching band. Generally, this stereotype is correct.
When most people picture a cheerleader's uniform, they usually imagine the basic top and skirt with maybe a little midriff in between. While this stereotype is correct, this image is just one of the many different uniforms that cheerleaders wear with some variations.
After investigating different eras of cheerleader fashion, I have broadly pinned down a few different categories for their uniforms:
The classic cheerleader (Think 1950's to 1960's outfits)
This one includes a long-sleeve top (usually white) with a long ankle-length skirt. Of the three, this one is the most concealing. (My personal favorite and the outfit that I wore for Halloween.)
2. The modern cheerleader (Think 1970's to 1990's outfits)
This outfit features a much shorter skirt that sometimes goes as low as the mid-thighs and will usually show your midriff in some capacity.
3. The current cheerleader (Think post-2000)
Outfits after 2000 are identical to the previous one, except they commonly combine the skirt and top into a one-piece uniform for ease of putting on, with the trade-off of not showing your midriff.
(I am not a cheerleader historian. Please do not set my DA on fire if I am hilariously wrong.)
Now, seeing anyone get bound and gagged can be very appealing. However, because cheerleaders exist to spread positivity, seeing them as a damsel is unique in a degrading sort of way.
Imagine a bubbly cheerleader turning into a frightened captive. This image goes against their usual attitude of being happy all the time and makes their captivity more interesting.
Below are a few scenarios that primarily feature tied-up cheerleaders.

Jennifer was the rather reserved girl on the cheerleading team, a surprising revelation given her popularity with the coach and the men around the university. This attention fostered some jealousy from her teammates, and one evening they would get revenge.
After a late-night return to the locker room, some of the other girls decide to knock the innocent lady down a couple of pegs by pulling a devious prank. Lucky for them, the coach wasn't present when they tackled Jennifer as she opened her locker.
One by one, each cheerleader grabbed the poor girl's limbs and used some jump rope to tie them behind her back, hog-tying her wrists to her ankles.
She tried to plea for them to stop, but the pair of white panties in her locker said otherwise. The balled-up cloth stays in place with a red handkerchief cleave-gagging the cheerleader.
After Jennifer gets bound like an animal, they pull down her long blue skirt, revealing her pink undergarments. In unison, the others point and laugh, embarrassing the unfortunate victim.
After an hour or so of degrading humiliation, the girls toss Jennifer in the storage shed on campus for someone to find her the next day.

Locker rooms are one of the best settings for a prank scenario, especially cheerleaders. Perhaps one girl is too popular with one of the other ladies' crushes, leading them to be a target of an embarrassing prank. Maybe the team of young girls is fed up with their bossy coach and pulls a devious trick on her. I highly recommend this setting should you include a cheerleader as your damsel.
Scenario #2: The rival school attack =====================================================
Most people assume football or soccer players have the most vindictive rivalries, but most people have never seen a cheerleader with a rival college.
Naples state university in New Mexico and Zia state college in Texas became sworn rivals in the last 50 years seemingly overnight. This bitter rivalry sparked the night before the final game of the season.
Specifically, the "incident" occurred in the sports department on Naples's campus when Zia's cheerleading team carried out a covert invasion late at night.
The girls wanted to settle things themselves instead of waiting for the game to decide who was better. Once on school grounds, the Zia students mercilessly bound and gagged any rival cheerleader on sight.
It didn't help that the principal organized a cheerleader's only gym sleepover in a celebration that same night. One by one, as the girls would each leave the gym, they were quickly subdued and dragged away by a ravenous pack of rival cheerleaders.
These abductions continued quite successfully until a noticeable number of people went missing, sparking the only faculty member present to get involved.
Before the principal decided to get involved, all victims were students. That demographic was consistent until the older woman got unfortunately captured. Few things on this Earth match the strength of seven women in cheerleading uniforms pinning you down and tying you up.
Approximately twenty minutes had passed without anyone returning, prompting the remaining four girls to investigate. Each classroom and office was checked, with no results.
The search party roamed all over until finally reaching the football field. Before long, the girls noticed that the stadium lights were mysteriously turned on in the middle of the night, illuminating the playing field.
Fortunately, the mystery is soon solved! But unfortunately for the ladies, they discover a shocking sight. Their teammates and even the principal took the field in a display of humiliation.
The training equipment for the football team was repurposed as stations to keep the struggling cheerleaders bound with tape, calling for help into their rather mediocre gags. (one strip of tape slapped across their mouths)
The women struggled as hard as their athletic bodies could, but the equipment built to withstand football players held firm. In the middle of the captives lie a unique spot for the principal. The mature woman is bound and gagged to a chair while adorning the school's mascot head: a Bengal tiger.
If one had to guess the amount of duct tape the cheerleaders had to peel off, it would probably round up to about 30 rolls or so. The school and its members were humiliated by the event, sparking the 50-year rivalry between the institutions.

Rivalries are a stellar plot point that can enhance bondage scenarios, and they go hand in hand with sports/cheerleading. For other situations, perhaps a student gets revenge on another for the top spot in class, or an employee kidnaps a competitor for an open job.

Bullies are unfortunately a frequent issue for less-popular students. But when one victim decides to get revenge, their justice is cruel.
James, the 20-year-old roleplayer, spent his entire week enduring the laughter of his peers after being exposed by the cheerleading team's captain: Ellie. His erotic roleplay chat logs with another girl were screenshotted and mass-emailed to the students in his calculus class, revealing his particular fascination with women's feet and armpits.
One night, when the cheerleading team arrived from an out-of-town game, he lay in wait for a perfect chance to strike. Inside his backpack, he brought various tools to return the favor.
As captain, Ellie is in charge of taking inventory for the cheerleading equipment. This responsibility left her isolated on campus after hours once the rest of the team left.
Just when she is done checking off the list, James clasps his hand over her mouth, snatching her away. Though she is athletic, the young woman was no match for the man empowered by his desire for revenge, getting overpowered and trussed up in minutes.
He decides to mummify the poor girl in silver-tape, leaving her pleading mouth un-gagged. After dragging her to the basketball court, a council of the cheerleader's other victims all await their turn.
Each one was humiliated in some way by Ellie, and now, she was at their mercy.

Revenge is a popular plot choice for bondage literature and can apply to many dynamics. Perhaps a victim gets revenge on their bully, or the victim fails in their attempt, leaving them once again at the bully's mercy.
Cheerleaders are a perfect choice for a helpless captive, and I hope this "case-study" of sorts encourages you to try implementing them in some fashion for your damsel entertainment.
