Cheat Codes Kris Kross Sex
Album: Single release only ( 2016 )
Cheat Codes and Kris Kross Amsterdam joined together for this sultry deep house tune, which was first released by Spinnin' Records on February 19, 2016. It was the international breakthrough for both acts, reaching the Top 10 in many countries charts worldwide. So who are the two groups? Cheat Codes is an American vocal electronic music trio based in Los Angeles, consisting of singers and producers Trevor Dahl, Kevin Ford, and Matthew Russell. Kriss Kross Amsterdam is a Dutch DJ trio comprising brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman and MC Yuki Kempees. The group was founded in 2011 by the Huisman brothers who missed the old skool RnB sound and organized a party called Kris Kross Amsterdam named in tribute to the famous rap duo.
Kriss Kross Amsterdam saw the song's hit potential straight away. They told DMC World : "When our record label Spinnin' Records sent us the acapella version of 'Sex' we really liked it. So in the studio we composed the music for it and within two ours the first demo was ready. When we listened to it we immediately had the feeling this could be big."
The song borrows the sentiment and chorus from Salt-n-Pepa's 1991 hit " Let's Talk About Sex ." However it takes a more pro-sex approach, as opposed to the original's lyrics about the dangers of unprotected intercourse.
The song's music video was directed by Chris Campbell. The clip features Cheat Codes and Kris Kross Amsterdam in a sex education class, with the teacher being played by model and actress Hayley Ambriz ( Taller Than Me , Harder ).

Cheat Codes x Kris Kross Amsterdam Lyrics

That was unforgettable
I wanna do it again
You're crazy like an animal
And I don't want it to end
Tell me all your dreams and darkest fantasies

Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex

That was unbelievable
I wanna do it again
I'll eat you like a cannibal
You're sweet like cinnamon
Tell me all your dreams and darkest fantasies

Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex

Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex

Any way you want it, you can have it
Talk about sex, baby
Do it on the counter, we'll fuck for hours
Let's talk about sex
Any way you want it, you can have it
Talk about sex, baby
Do it in the shower, pussy power
Let's talk about sex, baby

Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex, baby
Let's talk about you and me
Let's talk about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's talk about sex

The Cheat Codes and Kris Kross Amsterdam’s new “Sex” video is here, and it’s almost too hot to trot!

Sampling Salt-N-Pepa’s 1991 hit “Let’s Talk About Sex,” the single is quickly becoming the sleeper song of the summer as it continues to climb Billboard ‘s U.S. Dance chart.

American EDM trio Cheat Codes teamed up with Dutch deejay collective Kris Kross Amsterdam to reboot the track, and PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at their new clip.

“It was great to team up with Kris Kross Amsterdam again on a new video for our song ‘Sex,'” the Cheat Codes’ Matthew Russell told PEOPLE. “This song always gets us in the mood, so it only made sense to make a video where the entire cast and crew gets turned on! We hope you will, too!”

In addition to its lust-fueled lyrics, the “Sex” clip finds the six musicians on set at a steamy shoot that’s chock-full of ab flaunting (courtesy of Matthew Russell), synchronized hip thrusts and hot-and-heavy hair & makeup room makeout sessions and nude mannequin ear-licking.

The Cheat Codes will hit the road this fall and are scheduled to perform at Billboard ‘s Hot 100 Festival later this month in New York.

After their first single “Adventure” picked up steam in the electronic community in 2015, the L.A.-based trio toured with popular acts like The Chainsmokers and Ansel Elgort (aka “ Ansolo “).
