I have recently found this site, and it is amazing, both in terms of the app and the community around it. Does anyone know exactly what a keyholder can do? For example can they indefinitely add time? How many cards can they add? And what is the difference in trust options for shared sessions? Sorry if this has been answered before. Thanks.

Hi! The way that I learned how to use it is just by setting up a couple of locks, asking a couple of people to load them, and then run a trial to see how it all worked. Kevin can probably answer your questions about the limits of adding time and cards -- I haven't pushed the limits to see the maximum that can be added. The trust option, from what I can tell, prevents you from adding reset (blue) cards and only allows you to add/remove cards once per draw cycle (so, once per hour or once per day). **edited to fix silly mistakes**

Thanks LadyMoon, that is a good idea. Anyone want to volunteer for a few hours locked? For research purposes of course . So it seems like if a key-holder wanted to keep you locked for a long time, they could just keep adding red cards every cycle. I didn't see an option to set a hard maximum, maybe that would be an idea for the future.

Thank you for the offer, though I think I have got the essence of it. I am principally into wearing rather than holding, I'm just seeing what a key-holder can do if I take up a shared lock. I like that the keyholder has a lot of control, but I think it would be nice to have an absolute hard limit just in case. But I suppose you can always buy a release key, if the setting is allowed.

Lady Moon certainly knows her stuff. It's a more thrilling experience if you can both learn to trust each other. You can get a feel for some locks by how other users have posted. Just be aware if the keyholder still has the lock active or they have no control over it and your limited to the basic template.

@opsequium welcome to the forums. In case you're still unsure... if you say you trust your keyholder then all limitations will be removed and they can add 100's of cards in one go although they have to keep pressing the add buttons for each card which will take them time. There is a maximum limit that can be added and that's because I've capped the locks at about 1,500 cards. I don't think anyone has been that silly yet but if the thought of that scares you do not say you trust the keyholder until you've had a couple of locks with them and you've been talking to them etc. As a chastity wearer you can't set the maximum amount of time you're willing to be locked for with a lock you're loading from a keyholder. You're best of talking to them on the forums and discussing your limits before or during the lock. Good luck with your locks @DVDigital58 If you load a lock on the forum that the original owner has deleted from their list and no longer controls it you'll see a warning message before you load it. But yes you can still load and it will become like a lock you've set up for yourself. It won't say Locked by

Thanks guys, yeah most of the locks I have seen posted here are very thought out and not many are too long. Yeah chatting with a keyholder seems like a good idea beforehand as well. I might take up a shared session soon, when this bot decides to let me go haha.
