Remember the time you were singing in the shower pretending you were on American Idol? How about the time you used your hairbrush as a microphone while you did the Tom Cruise in your socks and underwear? Of course you do; cause it was like, yesterday. And don’t forget about all those times when you made your friend laugh by merely doing impressions of others. Why are you wasting your talents when you could have more than two pairs of eyeballs appreciating all that fabulousness? Honestly, what would you do if I didn’t come along and bring your mortal soul into the spotlight?

Stage fright? No worries. By all means stay in the closet with all your hidden talents. You don’t have to be up front and center; you can be an Extra. You can participate without all the extra pressure by being in the background. You’ve people watched before, right? It’d be like that except you’d step up your game and do it on record. There’s a plethora of platforms to choose from: Snapchat, Instagram, Tumblr, etc. Oh and when you get really good and get a bunch of followers and a consistent fan base and stuff, you’ll even get paid for it. Seriously, what would you do if I didn’t come along and bring your mortal soul backstage with me?
Not everyone is into selfie-ing and vlogging. Some people prefer to stay in the way back of back stage by the exit sign where no one can see them. Look at J.K. Rowling – all kinds of crazy magical goes on in that head of hers but she’s not exactly in the spotlight. If you’re good with words and your creative thinking game is strong, you could be just like her. Maybe start with a blog though; see how far you can get that crafty, awesomely weird brain of yours.
Comfortable with never leaving the blog zone because it’s your strong suit and you’re much better at telling your own stories than coming up with up with ones out of thin air? Excellent. I’d totally love to have you join our community. We have a PHD (pretty huge d….). I bet you thought I was gonna say something else but I was going for Database. Needless to say we accept juvenile jokes with open hearts and open legs. Bring it.

Truth be told, it can be a lot of work and I certainly don’t expect every single one of you individually beautiful snowflakes to be up to the challenge. I’ll be perfectly happy if you’re just a contributing personality. So if you’re one of those ‘bare minimum’ people that prefers to be part of the action but not to the point where you’d be held responsible for the inevitable fallbacks; if you’re perfectly happy just licking the surface of greatness instead of swallowing it whole, feel no shame because I’ve got a spot for you too. You can do a little bit of this and a little bit of that; no pressure. Maybe you’ll find a calling in the midst of it all. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you started out by testing a field merely as a hobby and you ended up kicking ass at it so hard that in a few years you find yourself in a position where you never have to work again? #Goals
So, you love everything I’m saying, and you totally wanna be involved. But you’re happier being behind the screen, than shaking your a$$ in front of it. No worries, there’s a place for you in my heart, and in all the awesome projects we’ve got going on. We’re always creating fun, exciting new technology, and want you to be part of the whole process. If you’re a grade-A genius, or even a grade-B, when it comes to designing, debugging, coding and all the rest of that nerd jargon, then you’re definitely in luck. We have internships, collaboration, and paid jobs up for grabs to those with a computer science background! So, if you’ve got some prowess in the technological arts, you should hit me up!
A strong support group is vital. Just like a giant pair of titties needs padding, underwires and double straps in order to stay perky and beautiful, talented people with endless capabilities that constantly produce amazing content need a large group of people that supports it all. There needs to be a wall behind all this magnitude to prevent everything from plummeting to its death. You can be that wall! Sure you’d be a funky looking wall with ears and eyeballs; and you’d be twitching with pleasure as you feast on this daily goodness but you’d be an important aspect to society. Officially you’d be known as micro talent. Unofficially you’d be a chain link that holds it all together. And the best part about this is that you’d have to do very little to nothing to gain that title! You’d click a couple links here and there, press a few likes, subscribe to some you-tube channels, etc. It’s the easiest most splendid “job” you will have ever had. Seeing as how you probably can’t wait, I’m just gonna go ahead and reach out my hand and say ‘Happy to have you on board!’
