Overwatch has risen to become a global sensation thanks to its hyper-aggressive gameplay and strategy variance. Due to the game’s popularity and audience size, it’s available in many languages, and players can pick and choose what languages they want to see or hear while playing. You can even split these two options when playing on the PC.
In this article, we’ll show you how to change your Overwatch language to the one of your choice and ensure you’re enjoying the game as much as possible.
While the game does have language settings, they are not where you’d initially think. Like many Activision-Blizzard games, some options are migrated to the out-of-game menu in the Battle.net application. Luckily, changing your language is a breeze. Here’s what you need to do on the PC:
Changing languages on the PCs has been made relatively easy due to the Battle.net app. However, console players don’t have those options available to them. The only workaround is to go into the console settings and change the language to one of the available options.
You can find these options in the Settings menu, followed by Language or Region tabs. From then on, choose a language you want to switch to, then restart Overwatch. You may need to restart your console to have the settings stick.
Note that not all console languages are supported by Overwatch, and vice versa; you won’t find all the available Overwatch languages this way.
Unfortunately, changing your system language also changes the language of all other games unless they have specialized language settings to override it. There is also no split between text and spoken language, so you can’t change announcer lines while keeping the text on default values.
If you have multiple system keyboard languages installed on your PC, you can switch between them while using the text chat.
All you have to do is open the chat, then press Alt + Shift while the chat cursor is open to cycle to the next language on the installed list.
Cycling through language lists in chat won’t change the languages you see from game notifications.
With so many excellent voice languages to choose from, you can enjoy the work of foreign voice artists bringing life to your favorite Overwatch characters. If you’re on the PC, the change is pretty easy, and you won’t even have to lose the comfort of your native language for textual information.

Doomfist is one of the worst designed champions in any videogame that I've played, and should be removed. He is a fighter in an fps game, that's the equivalent to putting Bayonetta or Dante in this game. He could at least be dealt with by hacking or stunning him, but instead they decided to remove 90% of the cc, and as an added bonus he has 450 health, with ANOTHER BONUS, his passive makes him even more tanky by getting shields, up to 600. Now As a tank, that would be fine, but the problem is, hes STILL ONESHOTTING AND FLYING AROUND THE MAP? "wHaT iS tHaT hEr0's M0BiLiTy?" Blizzard has struggled to balance this hero, he just cannot be balanced easily, or at all. since his whole character is about oneshotting with one ability, he either oneshots and breaks the game, or does not and becomes useless. they should either rework his core gameplay ( which I'm 90% sure they'll somehow even make him worse ), or remove himMovement organized by :@CrusherQ8 (on Twitter)@Clink_zg (on Twitter)

There is no way to begin to describe how outraged, hurt, and disappointed we are in Activision, Blizzard, and the irresponsible leadership thereof. Women in the gaming industry have suffered for years in silence; our jobs, wages, and passions would be jeopardized by the backlash of speaking up. Even in game, we are harassed, threatened, and violated by men who hear our feminine voices as permission to slander us.
As repeatedly shown by the company in question, we understand that no significant action has been taken to seriously combat this issue. Words, apologies, and promises are not enough. You have shown us we simply cannot trust empty PR statements. We need proof, proof that your company is willing to put in the work to change.
We ask that Jesse McCree of Overwatch's name be changed fully and canonically to Matthew Mercer, his voice actor, who has shown incredible support to the women affected by the company's negligence. We ask that the previous name be fully removed from the game and lore, as the man who inspired that name represents to us and participated in the predatory behavior endorsed by your company's complacence. We understand this will take a lot of work and wish to facilitate a crunch free workplace for game developers, however women have put a lot of work into your game. Women have coded, designed, worked, acted, and written tirelessly in a hostile environment for your game. Women play your game, stream your game, and love your game. Overwatch's poster child herself is a queer woman! We need to know your support goes past public relations and image.
The women of gaming are watching, and it's high noon.

The developers of Overwatch 2 recently announced that the game will be transitioning from a 6v6 to a 5v5 format. This is really dumb. That should have been obvious. Not sure how it got greenlit, but let's run it back.
Aaron Keller has claimed that "it still feels like Overwatch." This is a blatant lie. If it really feels the same to him, he truly doesn't care for the game at all.
This is most likely the worst change ever introduced by the Overwatch Development Team, let's try and stop it.
Because blizzard is way too uptight about their game and need to appeal to most of their audience
