Although there have been certain products that didn't get along with me very well in the Le Lift range , I thought I would try Le Lift Masque de Massage (also known as Recontouring Massage Mask) as I quite like their new boosting serum Le Lift V-Flash . You never know, sometimes you find a hidden gem! :) And I've been using their different masks for a long time, so it didn't take long justify a trial to myself :P.
Poor blood circulation along with cold hands and feet runs in my genes on my mother's side, so my face and body get swollen very easily. And it's at the peak in the morning or when I feel tired after walking for a few hours. That's one of the reasons why I try to lower my sodium intake as much as possible, doing things like not adding salt in home-cooked dishes. Anyway, cold weather makes the swelling even worse, so I tend to focus on lifting skincare in winter although you might have already known about this quite well if you've been reading my blog for a while. I suggest you not to overlook the puffiness as it's essentially stretching and shrinking down skin, which ultimately causes it to sag later. This isn't something that can be solved solely through skincare, but it also needs to be backed up with a proper diet and lifestyle. Keeping that in mind, let's have a look at Le Lift Masque de Massage and the new Le Lift Massage Tool.
The scent isn't nothing new or surprising as it strongly smells like Le Lift . It always makes me feel as if I put on a mature scented perfume designed for skin, which sounds a little weird, but it's true. You will either love it or hate it. If you are sensitive to fragrance, you might want to check other products although Le Lift Masque de Massage is still on the less potent side.
The consistency of the mask is quite interesting. It's a thick dense cream, which initially made me a bit hesitant to put it on my face as I seriously don't like the textures of their Le Lift creams apart from their new Le Lift Restorative Cream-Oil . However, it turned out to be nicer than I thought, which was a relief. The mask is basically a creamier version of their Le Lift Restorative Cream-Oil. It goes onto skin smooth like a generic cream, but as you start massaging it in with the Le Lift Massage Tool, the consistency then transforms as if you have put on a cream-oil.
It won't make your skin look very uncomfortably oily, but there's certainly richness to a certain extent. It can feel slightly tacky depending on how much you put on, which isn't a big issue considering it's a mask.
This sculpting mask features patented 3.5-DA* and a powerful, soothing Neroli Extract to immediately tone and firm skin, helping redefine facial contours while smoothing lines and wrinkles. The rich, creamy texture glides beautifully onto skin to maximize benefits.

Researchers isolated a remarkably potent extract from the Edulis Morning Glory and created a patented compound 50 times more concentrated than the original molecule. Looking at my face through my Simplehuman magnifying mirror ( full review ) the firming and lifting effect seemed to be quite subtle when the mask is used by itself, but the result is way more noticeable when you wake up when it's used together with Le Lift V-Flash . And if you add a bit of facial massage with the massage tool, you get that Wow effect. I'm not sure about wrinkles and cheek areas, but they certainly de-puff my face and brings that V-line along the jaw. I've been using them on my neck, and it feels tighter and smoother. The wrinkle improvement doesn't seem that noticeable on my face, but it does seem to work pretty good on wrinkles around my neck. Not so much on the decollete area though.
The only downside is that you are not supposed to wash the massage tool. I've been using clean tissue whenever I use it, but I'm not sure how hygienically reliable that is. It doesn't say anywhere that it's made of anti-bacterial material, so that's the only concern that I have so far. At least, I bought two of the massage tools as I tend to get a spare one for extra if I like the limited edition. Even if you missed buying a Le Lift Massage tool, the mask and the V-Flash works fine as long as you add a gentle facial massage :).
Sadly though, I wouldn't recommend the mask to oily to problem-prone skin types due to its rich texture. However, it's great for those with dry to mature skin as it gives pretty good hydration. I wouldn't say deep hydration, but it will be safe to take on the plane with you for a holiday trip :).
