Jackie Chan admits acting in porn movie

KUNGFU film star Jackie Chan yesterday admitted that he acted in a porn movie 31 years ago, responding to a report revealed by Hong Kong media, Information Times reported today.

"I had to do anything I could to make a living 31 years ago, but I don't think it's a big deal, even Marlon Brando used to be exposed in his movies," Chan said.

"The porn movie at that time was more conservative than the current films," he said.

Hong Kong netizens tipped local media that Chan was in the porn movie "All in the Family" in 1975, with a porn movie star who was famous at that time.

The Hong Kong made movie, directed by Zhu Mu, was defined as a comedy. Dean Shek, Tien Chun, and Sammo Hung were also co-stars.

I'm correcting one line in the Trivia section. The article mentions the ending theme for "Rumble in the Bronx" in the U.S. release was a Tom Jones cover of Kung-Fu Fighting. This is incorrect - that song was in the ending credits of the U.S. release of "Supercop." I heard a rumor a few years ago that Jackie Chan was supposed to be shooting for some film on top of the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001, but for some reason or another the shoot was delayed. I think the injury list section is pretty poor. I fixed the links to most of the films, but there are other issues with it. It could be re-written as a couple of paragraphs citing the worst injuries in a handful of films rather than a full list. If people prefer a full list it should probably be in chronological order, not alphabetical.

Beyond that, it needs to be re-written. The wording in phrases like "Hurt eye when pop-it went off near it" and "Got Glass Shards lodged in his butt" are not really appropriate for an encylopedia. What the hell is a pop-it anyway?

If you have "almost died of hypothermia" listed under a film (First Strike), is it really worth listing under the same film insignificant things like "cut finger"?
And in a list format, I don't think almost-injuries are worth listing at all (Twins Effect: "He just had a cameo, but almost got his leg ran over!"). In a paragraph format, you could mention this, but Chan almost gets severely injured on pretty much every film he appears in, but if he doesn't actually get injured, it shouldn't appear in a list of actual injuries. I think we should get rid of this section altogether, we will never know each injury Jackie has had from each film! The best thing in my opinion to do is to write a small paragraph stating that Jackie has been injured many times, mention Armour of God incident and then maybe some smaller ones - but a whole list is never gonna work!

I am adding to this, I saw a few spelling mistakes in this section, more like words spelled right but in the wrong word. It needs improved or removed...

===> Still, I found it impressive. I've just read this article at random and I was totally impressed by the long list of injuries. I had no idea. Of course I had seen a few of the injuries at the end of various movies, but my opinion as a totally utterly non-JC-expert is that this info is useful. I could imagine it in another form, but "many injuries" or "more than so many injuries" or "three almost fatal injuries" sound from vague to indifferent to me. Also regarding the "cut finger" or "sprained ankle", I found it funny. There was a movie where he sprained his ankle and had another "minor" thing and I immediately thought that surprisingly he made it though at least one movie in a pretty good shape. With every added injury, I was wondering if I should name this guy dedicated or crazy :) Moreover, I subconciously started counting the broken noses and I really wished for dates next to the movies (I did not search to see if they are chronologically ordered) in order to see the order under which he tortured his body. I'm just a random reader, and these are my two pennies.

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — Australia’s prime minister said Friday he remained committed to building a fleet of submarines powered by U.S. nuclear technology despite the French president describing the plan as a “confrontation with China.”
The previous Australian government infuriated President Emmanuel Macron last year by canceling a contract for a French-built fleet of conventionally-powered submarines worth 90 billion Australian dollars ($66 billion) and opting instead for nuclear-powered versions in a deal secretly brokered with the United States and Britain.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has stood by the so-called AUKUS agreement to embrace nuclear technology since he came to power at elections in May. Whether Australia opts for a version of the U.S. Virginia-class or British Astute-class submarine will be announced in March.
“We are proceeding with the AUKUS arrangements, there’s nothing ambiguous about it,” Albanese told reporters at a Bangkok summit that Macron is also attending.
Macron on Thursday criticized the AUKUS deal, telling reporters that France had offered Australia, which has no nuclear energy industry, diesel-electric subs that could be independently maintained.
“It was not in a confrontation with China because these were not nuclear-powered submarines,” Macron said through an interpreter.
But Albanese’s predecessor Prime Minister Scott Morrison chose the “exact opposite: To enter into a confrontation by going nuclear,” Macron added.
When the AUKUS deal was announced in September last year, China’s foreign ministry condemned the export of U.S. nuclear technology as “highly irresponsible.” Some of Australia’s neighbors fear it could lead to an arms race in the region.
Asked if Australia was creating a nuclear confrontation with China, Albanese replied: “President Macron is entitled to put forward his views, as he does in a very forthright way.”
“He’s entitled to make whatever comments he wants as the leader of France,” Albanese added.
Albanese suggested there was no ill-feeling between the leaders, saying, “We had a very friendly exchange, as we always do” when they met Thursday night in Bangkok.
Last year, Macron accused Morrison of lying to him over the deal and refused to take the Australian leader’s phone calls for weeks after the contract for a dozen submarines was scrapped.
Macron on Thursday said the prospect of France supplying Australia with submarines remained “on the table.”
Albanese said Australia was continuing to discuss with France “how we can cooperate in defense.”
With the first of eight nuclear submarines not due to be delivered until 2040, Australia could face a capability gap as its Collins-class conventional submarines approach the end of their lives.
There has been speculation that France could provide Australia with a small interim fleet of diesel-electric subs.
Albanese’s newly elected government agreed in June to pay French shipbuilder Naval Group a compensatory 555 million euros ($584 million) for breaking the submarine contract.
Australian Defense Department officials said at the time the compensation was generous in the hope of cooling French anger while enhancing security links between the two South Pacific powers.
Albanese said AUKUS was not brought up on Tuesday when he had his first bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
