Century Casino temporarily closes Canadian casinos
Century Casino, Inc. announced today that it will temporarily close its Canadian casinos and racetracks at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020 to comply with the quarantine announced by the Alberta government to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Government powers are expected to be re-evaluated in four weeks.
The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve rapidly, and due to the scope of the current pandemic, it is likely to adversely affect the company until at least the first half of 2021.
