Since recession hit (and we would say globally since 2008), the global economy have been surviving on cheap money, in particular thanks to low interest rates by central banks. However, there are no trickle down benefits as banks refused to lend to businesses, but used the cheap (and easy money) to fuel their gambling on the financial markets. 

Project Description:

Centive is a blockchain-based incentive network centered on frictionless and ultra-low cost transactions with tokens. We focus on platform development, adoption and user growth to generate value for all users. Centive’s platform aims to reduce friction drastically from promotion (by businesses) to action (by consumers). As a business owner, you no longer have to worry about how to execute your marketing campaigns. Centive’s platform is easy to use and operate.

Businesses and customers will go through simple know your customer (KYC) processes to build ecosystem integrity. By default, data will be safely stored. Centive’s platform will integrate all the latest capabilities in tracking, data and analytics to allow businesses to better understand their consumers.

Platform: 1) Wallet App. The Centive wallet app will enable end users to both receive and send XTV, check their balance, view their portfolio, check their transaction history, and many more. 2) Marketplace. The first phase of the marketplace development will allow businesses to offer deals to consumers, while the second phase of the development will allow consumers to crowdfund projects, causes, and many more. 3) Merchant Portal. Businesses can deploy marketing campaigns through the marketplace. This platform allows them to manage their ongoing campaigns, compile data, and generate reports.

Token:

The name of the token is XTV. To raise from public (US$) 35M. Total tokens issued (hard cap) is 1000M. Total tokens offered to public is 350M. Token price (US$) is 0.10.

Token Sale starts in August 30,2018.

Token allocation: 35%-offered to public, 25%-employees and managment, 20%-ecosystem and community growth, 20%-strategic and long term investors.

Roadmap:

In 2018 was kickoff project, research and development of the business model, team formation, infrastructure and company setup, official website launch, product development and design, smart contracts development, centive utility token design, smart contracts integration and testing, test product v1 MVP release, start of ICO. In 2018 will be centive token tradable in 1-2 cryptocurrency exchanges, desktop wallet launch. In 2019 will be wallet app v1.0 (Global), KYC full integration and process, centive marketplace and platform v1.0 (Full-Version), platform and partnership launch in 2 countries, XTV will be tradable in 4 exchanges, operations and live-support, centive token tradable in 6 exchanges, wallet app v2.0. 

In 2020-2021 will be platform and partnership launch in more countries, self-serve ecosystem, Open APIs, recommendation engine v1.0, online to offline modules, recommendation engine v2.0.

Team:

The team includes 12 people, which of them 6 advisors .

CHONG SIONG is CEO & CMO. He has previously led marketing in Rocket Internet ventures in Middle East and Asia, responsible for millions in marketing budget. After building the Thai business for EZBUY, which annualized tens of millions under his leadership, he became a venture builder, advisor and investor.

BENJAMIN S. RYU is COO. Recently, he served as General Manager of Thailand for an SGX-listed tech company, managing legal, finance, human resource and global strategic operations.

NIRMAL NATARAJAN is CTO. A serial entrepreneur, a talented automation expert, tech developer and crypto enthusiast. Hailing from the top ecommerce in the region (Lazada/Alibaba), Nirmal is considered one of the most specialized and talented tech personalities in all of Southeast Asia. 

Advisors. Jae Yun Yeo (GM Korea) started off in the hospitality industry with Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Korea. He recently served as Marketing Lead for Games, for a public listed tech company in Singapore.

Ryan Pham is a rare talent and a brilliant marketer with immeasurable experience in marketing for property (Property Guru), ecommerce (EZBUY) and transportation (Grab).

Tanee Siripong has held various leadership positions in ecommerce (Rocket Internet/Lazada/Central Group), and hotel booking (ZenRooms). Today, he advises a multi-billion dollar Thai conglomerate (Makro) in supply chain, logistics, operations and marketing.

Chandra Tandiono has an extensive experience in product development and marketing in Chinese tech giants of Tencent and Alibaba Group. Today, based out of Indonesia and China, he's a serial startup entrepreneur specialising in product design, ecommerce and marketing.

Yulius Prasetiyanto has served as Country Manager for OpenRice, and later EZBUY indonesia in Jakarta. Now, he helms Geniee International, a huge ad network based out of Japan, as COO of Indonesia.

Siddharth Wadehra had previously forged his career with IBM, Naspers, and Rocket Internet in challenging global markets of China, Philippines and Iran. Today, Siddharth is a co-founder of a technology start-up, an author of the book “Asia Incredible” and also a guest/panel speaker at prestigious  conferences and business schools.
