Cayo Guillermo where to buy ecstasy MDMA

Cayo Guillermo has become a popular beach resort and is not immune to mass tourism. But is Cayo Guillermo still worth a visit? How do you get there? What accommodations and activities are available on the island? Captain Ulysses will answer all your questions! You can easily order your tourist card online through CubaVisa. Although smaller than its neighbor, Cayo Guillermo is also a popular tourist destination and slightly more secluded. The island boasts three stunning white sand beaches, with Playa Pilar being the most beautiful. Partly covered in mangroves, the island is home to flamingos and pelicans, and its crystal-clear waters offer a diverse array of tropical fish and crustaceans. While Cayo Guillermo may seem like an enchanting and idyllic hideaway, not everyone can visit. Cayo Coco Airport is also served by daily flights from Havana. The shuttle stops at all the hotels on both islands and offers unlimited rides for 5 CUC per person per day. With its clear waters and stunning underwater scenery, Cayo Guillermo is an ideal destination for diving and snorkeling. The Coco Diving Center rents equipment and organizes diving courses and excursions. For exploring the mangroves, a boat excursion is highly recommended. Boat Adventure provider offers a 2-hour cruise four times a day, and guests can even take the helm of the motorboat! Deep-sea fishing is a beloved tradition in Cayo Guillermo. Ernest Hemingway himself described the island as the best place to fish in Cuba. To experience it, head to the Marina Marlin Cayo Guillermo. The catch may include mackerel, barracuda, and grouper, with a minimum cost of CUC for a half-day 4 people. In recent years, Cayo Guillermo has become the go-to kitesurfing destination in Cuba. The newly opened Cayo Guillermo Delphinarium is considered the best in Cuba. Admission is 5 CUC for adults and 3 CUC for children, and the delphinarium also offers swimming with dolphins and interaction programs. While animal welfare concerns are often raised, the staff appears to be taking good care of their guests. In Cayo Guillermo, all-inclusive resorts are the norm. Therefore, Captain Ulysses only recommends large establishments. The rooms are located in pretty colonial-style houses with a sea view. Slightly more expensive than the Iberostar Daiquiri, the Melia Cayo Guillermo is a 5-star hotel located on the beach. The hotel offers a range of high-end facilities and services like a pool, water sports equipment, and a tennis court. On-site, you will find 6 bars including a beach bar and a cigar bar and 4 restaurants buffet, Italian, international, and grill. The days when Ernest Hemingway fished for big game off the coast of Cayo Guillermo are long gone. Today, the islet has been transformed into a small beach resort: forget about authenticity here. You will not even come across any Cubans except for the staff , as they are prohibited from staying on the island. In short, if you want to experience the real Cuba, this is not the place for you. Canadianboywonder Sudbury, Canada 19 contributions. I read the reviews, we wanted a lower cost vacation but to somewhere that seemed comfy. The reviews stated that the service was good, mentioning Elvis and some others who WE did meet but none of these people did anything for us. They ran around, and did not provide any service I would call worth of mentioning. The resort itself was passible, small, and OK but the rooms were not cleaned on time. WE sometimes were left with hardly any towels or no new water bottle and well the rest was Ok. Half way through we noticed there was a bunch of business type people roaming around, it looked like a hotel take over was happening and then things GOT WORSE. More vacationers from another communist country came in and the place could not keep up which included having to line up for the buffet outside until they told us there was room but there were tables open that we could see. This place is the most horrible place on Earth! The weather was humid beyond comfort, the winds caused more of a burn then the sun and then there were the no see em bitems that ravaged us. We were pushed at the buffet by rude guests, cut in front of, and generally mistreated by very entitled guests and bad servers. Read more. Read our transparency report to learn more. The evening shows were good, the Entertainment Staff were a lot of fun. So glad we picked this Resort. Paula Y Toronto, Canada 21 contributions. Private Island off the main land, pros and cons. Our resort was on Cayo Guillermo, heard it was the second largest barrier reef but coral is not swimming distance, you need a catamaran to snorkel. Beaches were gorgeous beaming with marine life. Nick K Hamilton, Canada 7 contributions. Kite surf in cayo guillermo. We decided on a family trip to Cayo Guillermo C. Cuba, where I could also easily get some kiteboarding in. From what I saw there are 2 common beach areas on the Cayo Guillermo Island. To be able to kiteboard from your hotel beach you should stay at the Melia C. These hotels are all along an ideal kiting beach with kite schools and fellow kiters. Iberostar Playa Pilar is not on this kiting beach, it is not even on Playa Pilar beach, a 15 minute walk away, although there are some sandy beach areas along the way in between jagged rock sections. Possible to launch from but a little dodgy. Note the Playa Pilar Iberostar is only a 10 minute local bus ride away cost 5 convertible pesos CUC for a day pass each. These are open top double deckers that run up and down the Cayo Coco islands, well worth it and fun, sit up top and hold your hat. Playa Pilar hotel is great to stay best pool area around and shows but not great sandy beach front or kiting. Other notes : take Canadian dollars for spending money, most hotels exchange it easily to CUC pesos, and what you dont convert you bring home. No ATMs, withdrawing from credit card cumbersome requires trip to licenced bank only at Iberostar daiquiri on C. Airport to hotel bus driver had no issue or extra charge with my kite bag, some tour operators charge for big bags on bus, check your trip policy fine print. Snorkeling at playa pilar OK but not great from beach, but go in mornings to watersports area, and book a Hobie cat snorkel trip can take 4 people to a little island , trip is about 1. Kirsi H Laukaa, Finland contributions. Paradise beach. We just got back from our 2 week trip to Cuba. We visited Havana 4 nights , Trinidad 3 nights and stayed at Cayo Guillermo for 7 nights. The beach and the ocean are amazing at Cayo Guillermo. The water is clear and the turqoise colour is gorgeous. When the tide was low and air not windy you could walk far to the ocean and see the bottom all the time. We stayed at Melia Cayo Guillermo and I loved their long pier. Half of the days were really windy and then it was a bit chilly at the beach. But we were lucky to get some calm days as well. We rode bikes to Playa Pilar which was also nice but I think a bit ruined by all the construction going around. Right now this place is paradise and I hope it stays that way! I miss this place already!! Sarah M Winnipeg, Canada 1 contribution. Delfinario Cayo Guillermo. I booked a dolphin interaction at the 'Delfinario' for Monday December 30th and since we were not allowed to take out own photos I purchased the cd only to get home and find that my cd was blank. Conrad Cornwall, Canada 37 contributions. Take the bus. Take the island bus, 5 CUC and will bring you all around the Cayo. Stop at the Dalphinarium or the Cubian Walmart. Nothing to do. Once your at the hotel your only choices are take rep trips or get the hop on hop off bus to another beach or the market. The market took us 30 minutes to see everything and had to wait 20 minutes for the next bus. If you like holidays where you lay around and do nothing then this is for you. I also know someone who loves the speed boats. Veronica H 3 contributions. All inclusive. Best hotel ever i give it 5 stars. Staff cant do enough. Maids cant do enough. Food good rudy entertainment s manager knows what people. Want after allathe shows to carry on partying. Nelido is the most caring. Person i know. He looks. After you to make sure your stay is good all managers cant do enough. And all customer. Service is second to none. TiddlyPiddly Bolton, UK 65 contributions. My happy place. I say this without having stayed anywhere else, however. There are just a handful of hotels, a dolphin centre, a small marina, an equestrian centre, a couple of shacks selling overpriced seafood and of course, the famous Pilar beach. The beaches around the hotels are amazing, just amazing. Depending on where the tide is, you can walk the full length from the marina to the building site for the new hotels Pilar 1 and Pilar 2, which is around 4km. Getting to the mainland can be expensive and time consuming. If you want to visit Havana, stay in Varadero. If you want bars, restaurants, and generally more people, stay in Varadero. You can get to Trinidad in around 3 hours and I think roughly 65pesos; that will give you a feel for the run down colonial vibe in Havana, see some old cars and even older horses. For me, I love the isolation, the chilled out vibe and miles of gorgeous beaches of Cayo Guillermo. This is definitely my happy place. Add a reply. Read all replies. Hi , Wanted to know how you got there? Did you fly into Havana and drive? Fly into the small airport there? Where did you stay? Are flamingos easy to get to? LM in San Diego. Hi, Happy New Year! We took Air Transit from Toronto to Cayo Coco Airport, was met by a representative at the airport and took a shuttle bus and dropped us off to our hotel. Hope this helps. Sylvie G 5 contributions. Hi, I am a nature lover. Are the plants abundant? Do we see birds? I read about taking a bus up and down the island. I know to go to Pilar beach but what else can we take the bus too? I also read about fishing off the pier are their fishing rods at the hotel or does my husband need to bring his own? Hi Sylvie, Happy New Year! So sorry for the late reply, I have not been checking email, ok as for your question, I would suggest that your husband bring his own fishing tools. There are places to visit you can check them out via computer search google, yahoo. Hope this helps! Bb R 30 contributions. Estuvimos en ese hotel. Es super nuevo y moderno. No hay algas.
