Cathinone Cathinones
Cathinone Cathinones Cathinones (also known as benzoylethanamine, or B-keto-amphetamine) is a monoamine alkaloid found in the bushes Catha edulis (khat) & is chemically equal to ephedrine, cathine, methcathinone, and variant amphetamines. It’s perhaps the main contributor to the provocative impact of Catha edulis.

Cathinone differs from numerous other amphetamines in that it has a ketone functional group. Other phenethylamines that share this fabrication comprise provocative methcathinone, MDPV, mephedrone, and antidepressant bupropion among others.
