Danielle Bregoli , originally known by her Dr. Phil appearance as the “Cash Me Outside” girl, is no stranger to the conversation of cultural appropriation.
In December of 2019, she caught flack online after she posted a photo of herself with her hair done up in box braids. In response to the backlash, the then-16-year-old lashed out on Instagram where she derisively chided Black woman for wearing wigs and weaves. “To all the black females that are saying my hair [ain’t] meant for box Braids, guess the f*ck what, y'all hair [ain’t] meant to be straight but y'all glue whole wigs on to your heads and sew Brazilian/Indian/Peruvian hair which [isn’t anything] like your natural hair texture at all,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories.
Now, the 17-year-old is facing blackfishing accusations online in light of her new drastic change in appearance. On Monday (April 6), Bregoli popped up on Instagram and posted two videos from what appears to be inside her home. In the clips, she gazes into the camera as she shows off her long, Black tresses. Her skin is visibly tanned darker than its usual shade.
“If you told me this was [the] same shawty, I wouldn’t believe it,” one user captioned a photo of Bregoli from her infamous appearance on Dr. Phil.
“omg... I didn't even know this was the bhad barbie chick.... she looks like a full on black girl now…,” a second user commented.
“This can’t be bhad Barbie,” a third tweeted in disbelief. The drastic alteration has also prompted conversations about white womens’ obsession with Black skin, especially as it pertains to the aesthetics and nuances of Black womanhood.

Danielle Bregoli is known to America and the world as the "Cash me outside" girl, but online her racy pictures and video spread across social media have generated controversy about the 13-year-old and the spotlight being put on her.
Bregoli first burst onto the national scene after an appearance on the Dr. Phil show about out-of-control teens. During her appearance, Bregoli coined a now-viral catchphrase during an argument with an audience member, New York Magazine noted.

"I made you just like how Oprah made you," Bregoli told him (via BuzzFeed ).

"Y'all can put me in a program for six years and I'm still gonna come out the same person I went in," she said.
And it's clear that the visit to the ranch has done little to change the way Danielle Bregoli lives her life. The "cash me outside" girl has posted a series of racy videos online, including one to Instagram Live that showed her twerking for close to 70,000 fans while wearing just a bra and tight pants.
In another controversial video, Danielle Bregoli was seen dancing on the hood of a luxury car in a music video for rapper Kodak Black. The 13-year-old's provocative appearance was controversial, as was her connection to Kodak Black, the 19-year-old rapper who is awaiting charges on sexual assault.

Danielle Bregoli has gotten into trouble outside the internet as well. Last week, she and her mother got kicked off a flight at LAX after a fight with another passenger. TMZ shared some details of the "Cash met outside" girl's fight.

"That behavior is appalling. And it's appalling that anyone can think it is acceptable behavior," Peskowitz, who had a brief relationship with the girl's mother 13 years ago, told the Palm Beach Post . "And Dr. Phil? Shame on him."
The report noted that there are some much earlier pictures of Danielle Bregoli that showed a very different girl. In 2009, she and her mother were featured in a Mother's Day story in the Palm Beach Post about the strong bond between the two and how Danielle helped nurse her mother back from a health crisis.
But that seems a long way from where the "Cash me outside" girl is now, and Danielle Bregoli shows little signs of cutting back on the racy pictures and videos she's posting online --- and the tens to hundreds of thousands of views and shares for the photos shows that fans are quite interested as well.

Danielle Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie , was born on March 26, 2003, in Boyton Beach, Florida. Her parents are Barbara Ann and Ira Peskowitz, though she has been primarily raised by her mother.
She shot to fame at the age of 13 after appearing on Dr. Phil’s show in September 2016. Her mother, Barbara Ann, had brought her up to fix her bad attitude and habits, as well as their relationship.
As Barbara went on to share all the details about how her daughter misbehaved, the audience was seen laughing, which clearly annoyed Danielle.
Turning to her bhad behaviour, she threatened the audience and said: “Catch me outside, how about that?” . However, because of her accent, it sounded more like “Cash me ousside, ho bow dah?” .

Danielle’s fame skyrocketed significantly, so the teenager took the opportunity to make her viral meme turn into a career. Not only did she become an internet personality, but she also took her stakes down the music industry path.
Since she didn’t want to use her own name, she opted for a stage name. That’s how Bhad Bhabie came to life.
Because her viral meme had just recently been on the internet, her first single These Heaux peaked at number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100 and she became the youngest female rapper ever to hit the charts.
After These Heaux was released and made big numbers, Atlantic Records signed her. Her second single Hi Bich also hit the Billboard Hot 100 instantly.
Bhad Bhabie was able to land big music features with the biggest names in the hip-hop industry, such as Tyga, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, City Girls, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Despite her controversial beginnings, Danielle is now doing her own thing as a social media personality. She also occasionally releases songs, Bi Polar being her most recent one.
The now 19-year-old teenager revealed to TMZ that she had earned a whopping amount of $52 million in just a year after joining the X-rated platform, OnlyFans, as soon as she turned 18.
She said: “Call me the youngest female of the decade to go platinum… Call me some s**t like that!” she continued. “Call me the girl who got a million-dollar makeup deal! The girl who made over 50 million dollars on OnlyFans! “
To prove it to her fans, who were left in awe, Danielle pull up all of the receipts and shared a screenshot that proved the staggering profits she had made last year.
“Go cry about it b****,” she captioned it.
With 16 million subscribers in her OnlyFans account, Bhad Bhabie has earned $25 in million in messages and $16 million in just tips.

Even though Danielle Bregoli will never be able to wipe everyone’s memory of her beginnings, she surely has proved that “ain’t nobody gonna catch me” now.
However, she wants to be known as Bhad Bhabie now, and the Cash Me Outside girl has transformed.

Less than five years after her infamous Cash Me Outside appearance on Dr. Phil went viral, reckless teenager turned reality star turned musician Bhad Bhabie is about to cash a million dollar check from OnlyFans. Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, joined the adult service earlier this week not longer after her eighteenth birthday, and to say there was immediate interest would be an understatement. The popular social media personality posted a screenshot showing she earned more than a million dollars in the first six hours.
The money wasn’t all from subscriptions. She reportedly took home around $750,000 in subscription fees and then netted an additional $250,000 or so in private messaging-related charges and a further $5,000 or so in tips. Not bad for less than a day’s week. You can check out the screenshot she posted on Instagram below that also references an OnlyFans record, which is likely a nod to Bella Thorne who earned a million dollars on her first day …
Bhad Bhabie first shot to fame back in 2016 when she appeared on an episode of Dr. Phil alongside her mom. Her segment was titled “I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime” and was initially meant to be a discussion between the host, Bhabie and her mom Barbara Ann, but it was sidetracked when the teenager started getting into it with the audience. She angrily told them to “catch me outside.” Thanks to her accent, however, it sounded to viewers like she said “cash me outside.”
The unintentional catchphrase (along with footage) spread like wildfire, and Bhabie quickly turned into an internet celebrity. She later parlayed her fame into a variety of opportunities including music and beauty projects. Now this OnlyFans endeavour looks like it could be the most successful yet, as you’d have to think all the subsequent news stories about her popularity on the platform will lead to even more subscribers.
Of course Bhad Bhabie is far from the only celebrity who has tried her hand at OnlyFans. Former Shake It Up star Bella Thorne has been generating big headlines and even bigger financial returns on the service.
