Male Castration Castration in the genital modification and mutilation context is the removal of the testicles. Occasionally the term is also used to refer to penis removal, but that is less common. Castration has been performed in many cultures throughout history, but is now rare. It should not be confused with chemical castration.
I am a binary trans man and my pronouns are he/him. I identify as a nullo and Eunuch. Note: the urethra at the bottom looks larger than it actually is. The hole is actually covered by skin flaps on the sides, as my surgeon explained. I posted this here to spread awareness for another kind of bottom surgery for trans men and transmasculine people.
For his gender non-conforming and non-binary patients, Dr. Davis also performs gender or genital nullification, also known as male to eunuch or "smoothie" procedures. The procedure includes a complete penectomy, orchiectomy, a reduction of the scrotal sac, and shortening of the urethra.

Nullification removes external genitalia while preserving a urethral opening and anal opening. If the patient was born with a penis, the penis will be removed in addition to both testicles and the scrotum. The penile/clitoral nerves can be preserved under the skin or they can be removed, depending on the patient's goals. The urethra is shortened to the base of the pre-existing penis.
