I’m not the type that you would think by looking at me or even having a conversation with me. (laughs) that I would be promiscuous like that. As soon as she graduated from high school Cassidy enrolled in community college. To date Cassidy has attended two colleges and originally intended to train as a haemodialysis technician. I said I didn’t want to do that anymore. I was watching TV and saw a commercial for a nanny service. It’s really popular in my area. After I became a nanny, all my best girlfriends became nannies because it’s a really good job. Hours are 9-5 because that’s when the parents are gone but you also have the freedom to do whatever you want. I had to move right back out and I didn’t want that to keep happening. I needed something more steady, more consistent, something that I was going to get dropped from tomorrow. I had bills to pay! (laughs) We talked about it and my mom asked ‘why’ a bunch of times and my dad thought it was disgusting. At the end of the conversation, they said, ‘we don’t necessarily support what you’re doing but as long as you feel safe and don’t make a fool out of yourself. Make a career out of this. If you’re going to be in it, be in it all the way. We love you, of course we love you, no matter what you do.’ And I was like, ‘Wow. I do have really awesome parents.’ Lucky me!”.
