I visited the Casino for a Birthday Celebration. We had a 2 for 1 at the buffet. The food was excellent, prime rib and crab legs. 2 glasses of champagne were included in the meal, plus a non alcoholic beverage also. We had a great time and the service was excellent. I highly recommend the buffet.
Went on a Wednesday night, so it was not very crowded. Good lighting in the parking lot, nice parking lot for that matter. Ate at the Fiesta Buffet and was very impressed. $20, it was clean and pretty classy, as buffets go. Wide selection of foods, which were fresh and very tasty (including really good sushi, believe it or not!) The dealers were professional and quite friendly, made me feel comfortable sitting at a card table, and the slots paid out a decent amount, from what I saw. Overall, very favorable experience, and we'll definitely go back.

Went to see the Sammy Hagar and the circle concert. The Ava amphitheatre is a nice location, but it's outside. I understand security rules and their role in safety, but if it's raining, why are umbrellas not allowed? It's like saying no sunscreen, or no shoes. When it's actively raining and you're telling people that their umbrellas aren't allowed, that makes me seriously consider choosing a different venue for my band and concert viewing needs.

Our experience at Casino del Sol was unforgettable. We originally just went there to spend a few hours on the penny slots and leave after my girl and I each lost $40. Always a blast to visit. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and a great venue for concerts. Fantastic place for the fourth of July fireworks. However, the event/parking lot control was insane. I understand that the are many visitors and a vast amount of cars entering/ leaving the casino, but folks who can properly control the flow of traffic should make things less stressful.
Very nice Casino and hotel. Rooms are very clean! Love staying at the hotel when I earn free rooms through the casino rewards. Restaurants don't have the best service. The buffet staff is a little rude and over priced. I like the Japanese and Mexican restaurants. Casino is a little far from Tucson but worth it! They always have a beer special too!

I stayed here with family for a concert held at the AVA Amphitheatre. The hotel was lovely. The room and bathroom were spotless, the bed was comfy and the towels were fluffy. We had a view overlooking the Casino entrance. Usually that's not a great view but it was offset by the beautiful mountain backdrop and tall palm trees on the property. Even though the hotel was full of life, I wasn't disturbed by any noises from neighboring rooms nor the hallway. I would reconmend this place and I would stay here again.

Many restaurants they have a nightclub friendly atmosphere everybody. One of my favorite places to go when I want to go to the casino. And Moby's Diner is like a 50s 60s restaurant delicious food clean wonderful service. I would recommend it to anyone but it's not child friendly it's a casino.
The air is filtered fairly well and there's a nice mural inside. There are several games and machines, but I was disappointed about a lack of roulette. The buffet was affordable and had a decent selection. Service was poorer than Wendover or Vegas, but it might be nice for a trip. I'm sure seafood night would be better, and there might be times where they serve better soups or prime rib. All being said, it's probably worth a trip but maybe not a second.

Four stars due to price. Usually hit up the Fiesta Buffet, the best buffet in Tucson. Again, just a bit pricey which varies depending on meal and day of the week as featured foods change based on day of the week. The Asian restaurant is very good as well, again a bit pricey but worth it. Staff has always been friendly and attentive.
We stayed at the casinos overnight rv parking and was very satisfied. Not only was it clean and tidy but we felt safe. I'm not sure if they approve but we used their inside restrooms and the staff at the door was very polite, if you need a free place to park your RV without being crowded or made to feel like you can't leave your truck this is the place. If I come by again I will be staying again. This time to do some gambling.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Stayed on the Sky level so the room was large and nicely appointed. Pool area was a highlight of the resort, some good restaurants and the slot machines were somewhat generous during our stay. The only thing we missed out on was a round of golf but it certainly look beautiful from the 10th floor of the hotel. We will for sure go back if ever in the Tucson area again!
Went just to gamble. It's a decent casino. My fiance loves to play slots and they have a ton of them. They keep moving and/or getting rid of her favorites though. They seem to pay out decent. Tables are fine. Only play blackjack once and doubled my money really quick.

Staff is great. Besides our bartender who "didn't usually work at this bar" and didn't know how to make a single drink on the menu. We've been here twice and the staff and dealers are always great. Our room was immaculate and had a great pool view. Will definitely be back.
(I only visited the casino, and this was my first time here.) Pros: The interior of the casino was really beautiful. I loved all of the stylized buildings and how the ceiling looked like a realistic sky. You can sign up for their free membership card and they give you free gameplay money to use the first time that you're there. Between my husband and myself, we got $35 to spend for free and ended up making $95. So, not a bad night especially for not having to pay anything out of pocket. We went during happy hour at the bar and there were tons of fun drinks to pick from that were half off. The apitizers were all $4 off as well. The bartender that was there was great and very entertaining. Cons: The casino games felt kind of sparse. I'm not sure how busy this place gets (we went on a Wednesday) but I could see them potentially running out of machines to play on. To be fair though, the only other casinos I've been in are ones in Reno, and those are huge.

I was offered a free night's stay at the hotel and used it on a Friday. The check in process was very easy and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. My room was on the 4th floor and overlooked the north side of the building. I can't say it was the nicest view, as it was overlooking the valley, but the view of the hills beyond was very pretty. The room was well-appointed, with comfortable beds, high definition television, and an exquisite glass-enclosed shower that I enjoyed using after my long day at work. After I got settled, I went down to the casino, played a few slot games, and then decided to have dinner at Moby's, the 24 hour restaurant near the center of the casino. The food was delicious, though if I had a criticism, it seemed that the staff were a little disorganized. After dinner, I continue to play some more slot games until I'd had my fun, went back up to my room, and watched television for a bit until I went to bed. The next day, I checked out, and the process was as easy as it was checking in. I was very pleased with my time at the casino and will definitely return again.

When the weather cools down just a little from its summer peak, that's the time to get out to Casino Del Sol. The Ava amphitheater is extremely well constructed, the acoustics are fabulous, and they bring in some of the biggest acts in music. Great place to catch a show. Stay away from the casino however, unless you can't help yourself and insist on making a contribution to the tribe. I have never seen slot machines so consistently defy the laws of probability. Tighter than rusty nut on a Studebaker as my dad would say.
My husband and I are frequent guests here and I enjoy my relaxation. Massages are good (not great but I can't complain). I always enjoy their food, all of it. People are mostly respectful. I've only had 1 incident of an employee approaching me disrespectfully but given the amount of people there for a show and the increased security I understand to some degree the need for... stern attitude. It was completely uncalled for when all I was doing was reading a book by the pool when I was approached by a woman who acted like I snuck into the pool area when I had been out there since before the show even started... All in all, it's a nice place and when there's a big show and security is tighter they can be a lil more blunt but they do it for safety and security. It's a fun place.

We love going to Casino Del Sol! They have great slots, classics and new ones, along with bingo, blackjack, poker, so many fun things to do. With the addition of the resort, it feels like a Vegas hotel and casino but it's right next door. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The pool itself isn't very big but it is nice and has plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas. There are plenty of bars, one being poolside, and all have wonderful bartenders. We love going to Del Sol and will continue to go for many years to come.
Had a wonderful night. Drinks were great at the brand new bar. Also had a 3$ drink service next to the high limit room. Slot machines seem to be recently updated. 5 and 10 dollar blackjack was a wonderful addition to the casino. will be back for more fun.

Had dinner at the sushi restaurant inside. Server was hilarious and kept us laughing all night. Had the Playboy roll which was incredibly delicious. Beware of the Ex Roll, it is massive and feels like you're eating a whole fish with each roll. Prices weren't too bad. The casino itself is always clean, but of course reeks of smoke. Plenty of entertainment inside.

Absolutely one of the very best places in area!! Food is WONDERFUL , people who work there are very helpful and nice! We got a room on my birthday and ate at PY's Steakhouse. It was a GREAT time! Love the pool area! The hot tub is so nice and the jets are strong enough to sooth away your aches and pains. The pool area is beautiful! The rooms are nice and very clean! If you are visiting the are you will want to stay at least one night!

Although this place has extremely good food. The machines do not pay out. They have tightened up the machines in preparation for a remodel. Never can get drink service or change. Always crowded and always a long line for the buffet. Desert Diamond at least some keeps you playing! Instead of stealing your money.
