Casey Anthony Entered a Hot Body Contest Four Days After Her Daughter’s Disappearance and We’re Still Not Over It
Of all the damning things that Casey Anthony did following her daughter Caylee Anthony ‘s disappearance, entering a hot body contest is by far one of the most puzzling. If anything, it’s because it extends so far outside the scope of what one would expect from a grieving mother. Then again, Casey Anthony hardly ever behaved within the confines of conventionally expressed grief.
To be frank, she often looked happy during her trial , where she faced the death penalty for first-degree murder. Was that all an act to placate jurors into thinking she was in shock or mentally unstable? Or was the Casey Anthony we saw take the stand in 2011, truly who she is: an apathetic, selfish woman with little regard for the law, let alone the death of her two-year-old daughter? According to those who knew her well, the latter holds true — making the hot body contest, and the photos that came with it, not as unbelievable after all.
In a 2011 testimony obtained by the Daily Mail , Casey’s roommates were called to speak on her character. “She seemed like a fun party girl,” said Roy “Clint” House who shared an apartment in Orlando, FL, with Casey’s then boyfriend, where she often stayed.
On June 20, 2008 — four days after Caylee went missing — she put her party girl reputation to the test at an Orlando nightclub. “She was in a hot body contest. She was partying and having a good time, drinking, dancing,” Roy testified.
When a prosecutor probed Roy further, asking him if Casey appeared worried, depressed, withdrawn, sad, angry, scared, or concerned about her missing daughter, his response was a flat out, “No, sir.”
Almost six months to the day following Casey’s night on the town, Caylee’s remains were found alongside a blanket in a garbage bag in a wooded area near Casey’s home.
The now 32-year-old was acquitted after being found not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse — while she was found guilty on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement. One juror, Jennifer Ford, told ABC News at the time, “I did not say she was innocent. I just said there was not enough evidence. If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be.”
So where’s Casey Anthony is today ? As of 2017, she was living in South Florida with Patrick McKenna , a private detective who worked as the lead investigator on her case. The always classy Casey Anthony strikes again! This time, she's under fire for allegedly trading sexual favors for legal advice. Yes, apparently, that's a thing. In the first pics since the news was revealed, she is seen flashing a creepy grin at a car dealership in Florida.
Not again! Yes, that's right, Casey Anthony, 30, is in trouble with the law yet again. On May 24, documents were revealed that claimed Casey allegedly exchanged sexual favors for legal advice during her 2011 court trial. Just a day later, Casey was spotted outside of a Ford dealership in Florida doing a little bit of light shopping for a new vehicle, and sporting a dashing smile for the cameras.
On May 24, shocking court documents were released that contained testimony given by Dominic Casey , a former private investigator who worked on Casey’s case in 2011 , and alleged that she not only admitted to murdering her daughter, Caylee Anthony , but also paid her legal fees with sexual favors. That’s a pretty bold accusation, but the court files are very damaging.
He claims she provided these services for her lawyer Jose Baez . “You now owe me three blow jobs,” Dominic recalls Jose saying to Casey on one occasion. Dominic also claims that he walked in on Casey in the act one night! “That night, I told her that she cannot allow [Baez] to continue engaging in this behavior. Casey told me she had no money for her defense. I reminded her that Baez had more than enough money from the network he sold the photographs to pay for her defense ,” Dominic shared.
Wow. It seems there was way more than meets the eye when it came to this case. Sadly, there were no winners, and this case doesn’t seem to have any happy ending in sight. Although, it looks like Casey’s not worried at all, considering she has a brand new car to keep her company.
