Monster Tony Orlanda Singleton turned off the lights at the home of a friend in South Carolina before the sickening attack on the youngster
A 10-year-old girl was raped and impregnated by a family friend while she watched cartoons.
Monster Tony Orlanda Singleton preyed on the youngster at her home in Estill, South Carolina, in April 2016.
Sicko Singleton, 37, turned the lights off before launching the disturbing attack on the girl.
The young girl's mother took her to get an abortion a few weeks later after realising she had fallen pregnant.
Singleton initially denied the charges but a DNA test from the aborted foetus proved he was the father.
The brave girl also told the forensic interviewer what had happened.
Singleton was found guilty of first degree criminal sexual assault and was caged for life by Circuit Judge Carmen Mullen on Wednesday.
He will serve his sentence without the possibility of parole.
The two-day trial heard from 10 prosection witnesses - and jurors took less than an hour to find him guilty.
Prosecutor Hunter Swanson said: "This girl should be getting ready to go back to school, making friends, braiding her hair – things other girls her age typically are engaged in.
"Instead, she's in a courtroom, reliving a horrific ordeal. Tony Singleton is to blame for that. This man was someone she trusted, someone who lurked inside her home, someone who changed the fabric of his victim's life forever."
