A once celebrated goddess revered for her blessing for the harvest, now reduced to a mere folk tale.
However as time progresses, everyone become more and more independent to ensure that they get a good harvest.
The goddess now is a business partner with a savvy trader who makes use of her powers of being able to evaluate a person’s character.
Romance , scheming characters, witty humor and so much more are waiting for this wolven goddess in the series.
A videogame adaptation, Doubutsu no Mori actually is very cute anime . This little movie will have you sit back and sip on your beverage as you watch it.
It’s a treat to your eyes with all the cute characters combined with the nostalgic feeling of watching cartoon that you did as a kid.
This movie would’ve earned a higher rank if it was not so specifically targeted for the audience that already know and play the game on the Nintendo DS.
If it’s is in the game, it is in the movie as well, but if you don’t know anything about the franchise, this isn’t the place to enter it.
Inuyasha and Fullmetal Alchemist fans will love this series as well.
A strange man with a mask he can’t remove and a past he can’t remember. With everything shrouded in mystery to himself, how will anyone else try and uncover this puzzle?
Strange inhabitants with tails and ears, an oppressive government, an angry god and the place on the brink of destruction by war.
Who is he? What’s with the mask? Why can’t he remove it? What is his identity?
Have all these questions answered, for you and the protagonist himself in this anime.
You have lived in the mountains in your shrine where you work as a maiden for almost all of your life. Now, you need to to to city for further schooling and you have no idea what to do.
It’s not a big deal. You can learn and train to go into the city, right? No issues. Actually, one issue. The person who’s going to train you.
This anime will give you a lot of digging deep and analyzing to do. Things look very superficial and just ‘cute’ on the surface with the animation also adding to it. But is that really it?
It’s not that apparent but it has a lot of underlying themes. One being social awkwardness and clique culture. So, how many can you find?
Wake up, dress up, go to work, come back home, sleep .
Wake up, dress up, go to work, come back home, sleep.
Wake up, dress up, go to work, come back home, sleep.
Wake up, dress up, go to work, come back home, sleep.
Wake up, dress up, go to work, come back home, sleep.
Such is the life of a Japanese Salaryman.
Oh yeah, don’t forget the fact that you’re a neutered lion, a zebra walking on two legs or a lizard clad in suit trying to make the best of your office and worklife.
African Salaryman is a fresh take on animals being put in distinctly human situations to stir the plot a little.
Ever been to a club? Drinking? Enjoying with your friends? Laughing? Dancing? Picking up girls?
Well, our protagonist was also spectacularly decieved when his friends meant ‘picking up girls’ as ‘kidnapping’ them.
Also, turns out that the girl they’ve kidnapped is an animal-human hybrid.
So, now they have to take her to the ring where all the rich white-collar corrupted businessmen would get entertained out of her fighting for her life to defeat opponents one after another.
Obviously, blaming her if they lost their money placing their bets has absolutely nothing to do with her.
This anime is more than just scantily clad animal hybrid women fighting. Its promising plot, delivery, animation, and action definitely pack the punch .
Wolves were extinct! 200 years ago! There’s no way you can see one! Unless…
Yes. Wolves have been living around since 200 years disguised as humans.
Look, they don’t want much. They’re just a pack of wolves looking for the Paradise coming true, okay?
Their devotion to their purpose and pack are outstandingly portrayed in this anime which also gives us a sneak peek into the brain of someone who has some great purpose in mind.
Would they find the Paradise? What does a spirit have to do with anything? What if they’re found out as wolves? Will they be killed? Captured? Kidnapped?
Amazing artwork, streamlined plot, captivating story, compelling storytelling. A definite worth watch.
Or so would the Hyper Police like but the monsters keep bullying, harassing and not letting the humans lead their lives peacefully.
Now, as half human half monsters, the Hyper Police assumes it’s duty of creating an environment of peace and an atmosphere of harmony among the humans and beats…
Well, it’s not like it’s going to be easy. Grudge and prejudice are the main concern in such cases, a lot of humans have lost their loved ones, a lot of monsters have been shunned and stereotyped.
The Hyper Police will bring this under control and somehow create peace. Somehow.
All I’m asking for is for everyone to leave me alone so that I can read my books in peace? Is that too much to ask for?!
Well, the result of wanting to read the last book of his favourite series, this protagonist was reincarnated as a Dachshund!
This isn’t a half humanoid character but instead an animal with a human soul. So, now the woman who adopted him has a dog that talks, can read and look at things from a human’s perspective being a dog.
A fresh comedy about how all the protagonist just wants to read but his interactions with all the quirky and intriguing characters get him into certain…um…certain… situations…
Horse girls? Unicorn women? Pegasus ladies… Look, I don’t know what to call them but they are humanoid horse hybrid femme athletes who are best known for their speed and endurance…
A track sports anime that will leave you in its dust and kick you with all the awesomeness that it has packed! With all the visual prowess that this action-packed anime has, what really binds you to this series is the characters.
Energetic cheery types? You got it.
Competitive perfectionist? You got it.
Rebellious anime tomboy ? You got that too.
Also, don’t forget their attractive trainers.
This anime is a total worth watch with all the dynamics, interactions, relationships, visuals, races and in general everything else.
Transported 500 years into the past after being used to get some wish-granting jewel from your backyard well. Just great. An unnecessary complication?
The jewel is now broken into pieces and you need to find and get all the pieces back before they fall into the hands of evil.
Oh yeah, you’re 16 and a school student without any combat training or anything. So, good luck!
Inuyasha, the protagonist by the same name, a dog man is now your guardian, and slowly and steadily as all the action, drama , mystery, and romance unfolds, will you want to go back to your world getting separated from the so-called life that you have created here?
Shirokuma literally means “White Bear” or a Polar bear . The title perfectly describes what this cute slice of life anime is. It’s a café run by polar bears! Pandas and a lot of other frequent this place.
The service in this cafe is quick and the waiters are super duper cute polar bear cubs. The ambience is perfect for a lolling and slopping around on lazy afternoon. Food is great and is great for light-hearted entertainment.
Considering that the place is run by polar bears, it’s doing way better than most cafés where humans work.
It’s definitely worth visiting once…and again…and again…and again.
You know usually the plot of an anime is anthromorphic animals can’t suppress their instincts and are discriminated against?
Yeah, well this is absolutely nothing like that. Wolves could try their hardest but will never be able to actually hunt and eat rabbits. Goats get along well with lions and tigers.
These animals are working so hard to go against their human insticts to get their violent, bloody and ruthless animalism back, but well… Seems like they’re going to have to work just a little bit harder.
Animal humanoids always existed in the world that you live in, you just didn’t know that they did. They always lurked around in the shadows and all they wanted to exist without being captured or shot on sight.
Brand New Animal is a very captivating story of how humans are always scared when they find something new out of the blue. Everyone is trying to “get rid of the pests” while all these humanoids are trying to do is live.
Freedom seems to be too far-fetched for them. And equality? They can’t even dream about something like that.
Studio Ghibli seems to really like cats for certain reasons. They seem to be everywhere! From Gigi in Kiki’s Delivery Service to The Secret World of Arrietty and from Whisper of the Heart to the Kittenbus! All the cat lovers! This Studio Ghibli movie is here for you!
The Prince of Cats, from the legendary land of cats, is here to return the favor of you have helped him.
You can tell he’s a prince with everything that he does, from the way he walks in his tight suit to the way he holds a teacup, from the way he talks to how he’s more polite than most humans could ever possibly be.
Get ready to be spoilt by this charming cat prince!
Another Ghibli production! And how could I not? Totoro is such a well-known character standing next to you on the bus stop in the rain.
This rabbit -like creature is actually a spirit that walks on two legs and can seemingly understand language.
A visually beautiful story that will keep you smiling for the entire duration. A little nervousness sprinkled here and there and you’ll be glued to your seat just waiting to find out how the story unfolds further.
An addition to these spirits, Totoro has the ever-iconic Catbus which is literally a cat bus. Like you can open the door and sit inside a cat that has a door and windows.
Definitely one of the best things you’ll do if you have a couple of hours.
Beastars is a thought-provoking anime centred around themes of discrimination within animals themselves.
Dealing with the murder of a charismatic deer student at school and being blamed for it jut because you’re supposed to be a meat eater.
Who murdered the deer? Why would they do that? Was it really a carnivore? Was r for the meat? Or for the horns? Was it poaching? Or just plain blatant murder without purpose? Or was it someone getting out of control?
Drama unfolds as you realize that you actually do have the urges once in a while… Urges to sink your teeth in soft juicy meat, urges to keep the prey struggling in your jaw until they stop breathing, urges to have the taste of blood in your mouth once again.
Romance ensues as our wolf protagonist seems to love hanging around a sweet white bunny? How will this relationship move forward? Considering one being the prey and the other being the predator?
The thrill will keep you on the edge of your seat but glued to it. This is one of the series where it’s three o’clock in the morning and you think to yourself…
"With great anime, comes the great responsibility of telling every single person you know about it!"
A lot of things in this world will change but my love for manga, anime, and Japanese culture wouldn't. I managed to channel my love for writing into a book!
Whenever doing anything, ask yourself this: As the curtains draw, will your audience remember you?

While it’s only been in the latter part of its evolution that television has fully embraced sexuality as a driving force of live-action entertainment, TV animation has almost always had a little more breathing room in using attractive scantily-clad characters to tell tales. (Especially once comic book characters started appearing more often.) There is probably a far-reaching wave of influence over children that is worth studying here, but that definitely is not what this story is about.
Here, I’m reverting back to the days of maturity-lite pre-pubescence to rank the 20 hottest animated females of all-time-ish. Such a highfalutin concept does come with a few admissions. I generally stuck to American cartoons – so those hoping for the wide-eyed world of anime may be disappointed – and, except for one instance, strove for variety by not using more than one character from the same show. Otherwise, I tried to be as all-encompassing as possible for a 32-year-old with a family. So pop on some pre-Code Betty Boop cartoons to carry us through this world of 2D beauty.
Where You Know Her From: Family Guy
Beyond being one of the coolest and funniest moms on TV – cutaway gag to Donna Reed dropping a dildo into a pie – Lois Griffin is also a raging fury of sexuality. The fact that she expends a lot of that flirtatious energy on seducing the brick-dumb Peter is mildly off-putting, but not enough to knock her off the list. She’s the one area of Quagmire’s awful fetish farm that makes sense – among hundreds of others, ahem – and it’s a shame that such beautiful loins produced something as awful as Meg, who definitely did not make this list.
Where You Know Her From: X-Men: The Animated Series
While I was initially more attracted to Rogue when I was a kid, I didn’t really grasp on to the fact that physical intimacy would be fatal. And so now I’ve come to understand that Storm is truly the best of this mutant bunch. For one, she’d always be the dominant one – it’s impossible not to be when your eyes glow like that – and she can create cool breezes or light thunderstorms to make any encounter that much more perfect. Fighting Sentinels is a good first date, right?
Where You Know Her From: Esurance commercials
The only commercial pitchwoman on this list, Erin Esurance began life as a catsuit-wearing spy, taking down bad guys while hocking insurance policies. Though successful, the campaign was then made weirder by having Erin animated to look younger and sexier, which really only worked to make the Internet burst at the seams with fan creations depicting Erin in even more heightened sexual poses. That’s when the pink-haired badass packed up and shipped out, but she’ll always mean more to me than saving 15 minutes with Geico or being in Allstate’s good hands.
Where You Know Her From: The Real Ghostbusters
Another character who experienced a slight transition in looks and tone, as she was both a hardnosed secretary and a nerd-hot fifth wheel, Janine was as much a Ghostbuster as the four guys, only without having to always go out and bust ghosts. But any iteration of Janine is welcome in my book, as the combination of red hair and glasses wins every time. Plus, her attraction to Egon means she’s into smart guys, and what’s a better example of one’s intelligence than putting this list together?
Where You Know Her From: Captain Planet
If we’re being honest, Captain Planet is one of my least favorite cartoons ever, and is as painful to watch now as it was when it first aired. But as a kid who was less interested in saving the ozone, and more interested in girls and stuff, the Asian Planeteer Gi was always a welcome sight. (Not that Linka wasn’t.) Because she loves the water, Gi would probably be all about knocking boots at beaches and water parks, and in keeping her away from the rest of the team, I could ensure never having to awkwardly make small talk with Captain Planet. Villainous perfection.
Where You Know Her From: Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?
The big bad from one of the coolest computer games of all time, Carmen Sandiego is a wily thief whose crimes are based more on challenges than malice. More to this list’s point, she’s a dashing lady who is always into the chase, and she’s the first character I can think of, real or animated, that ever made me think a hat was hot. The fact that she was voiced by Rita Moreno certainly didn’t hurt, though it’s impossible to say her name without thinking of Rockapella’s boner-reducing theme from the early 1990s game show. Worth it.
In the early 1990s, one of the only places to find avant-garde animation on TV was MTV’s Liquid Television , which gave the world the leather-clad assassin Æon Flux. Because ladies in science fiction rarely own T-shirts and blue jeans, Æon Flux generally had more skin showing than outfit, and it was all seen in a largely dialogue-free series of badass action sequences, in which she flipped and cartwheeled all over the place. Losing to her at Twister is on my bucket list.
Where You Know Her From: American Dad
While she’s occasionally a good mom, the bubbly blonde housewife Francine is better known for her more morally questionable acts. She’s the hot mom you can get fucked up with, and also possibly stab someone with in a fit of rage. Psychos are hot, yo. It helps (in this particular case at least) that Seth MacFarlane’s writing squad ups the ante when it comes to Francine’s perversities. Plus, when she’s not completely trashed, she’s surprisingly smart in certain subjects, particularly “what it’s like to have an orgy with Dexy’s Midnight Runners.”
Where You Know Her From: Stripperella
Come on! There’s no way a list like this could ever exist without Stripperella on it, as she’s the one character whose sexuality is not only embraced and used to her advantage, but basically the only reason she exists. Created by Stan Lee, Stripperella is an exotic dancer who leads a double life as a secret agent superhero-type, and she’s voiced by Pamela Anderson at a time when the actress wasn’t making headlines with Tommy Lee’s dong. The show – and by default, Stripperella’s huge boobs – remain criminally underseen.
Where You Know Her From: Spider-Man: The Animated Series
Peter Parker’s most iconic love, Mary Jane has drawn ginger-lovers’ eyes for many years in the comics, and she’s never looked better than she did in Spider-Man: The Animated Series . There’s something about mid-1990s animated sweaters, I guess. She and Peter turned a blind date into a solid romance, and t
