Despite calling herself “The Princess of Staten Island,” Carmella possesses enough New York grit for all five boroughs. Her fabulous debut in October 2014 put the entire NXT women’s locker room on notice, as Carmella displayed a potent submission move in a decisive win over Blue Pants.
Carmella gained valuable experience in 2015, competing against Alexa Bliss, Emma, and Eva Marie. In July 2016, Carmella got drafted to SmackDown and made an immediate impact. She won the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and after holding on to her championship-opportunity briefcase for nearly a year, cashed in on Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship two nights after WrestleMania 34.
Carmella formed a long-time partnership with R-Truth and together they won the second edition of the Mixed Tag Team Challenge tournament. She often helped R-Truth defend his beloved 24/7 Championship. The duo split up in October 2019 when R-Truth got drafted to Raw, while Carmella continued to prove dominant on SmackDown.
Despite her incredible achievements, Carmella ruthlessly reemerged on SmackDown with an “untouchable” persona, making it clear that her best days still lay ahead. If that wasn’t enough, the stunning Superstar then became the self-professed “Most Beautiful Women in All of WWE” and took her talents to Raw.
Have naked photos of Carmella — real name Leah Van Dale (aka Leah Van Damme) — leaked online?
After several photos and videos depicting Paige in highly sexual situations surfaced online due to hackers, rumors began to swirl that this scandal involved other women from WWE, including Carmella.
It all started on March 17, 2017, when explicit photos and videos of Paige leaked online.
Later that day, Paige said private photos belonging to her got stolen and shared without her consent.
“Personal and private photos of mine were stolen and unfortunately they were shared publicly without my consent,” Paige said in a statement on Twitter.
In the days after the leak, explicit material ranging from topless bathroom selfies to X-rated videos featuring other current or former WWE Superstars began to emerge online.
WWE Superstar Summer Rae is one, while naked photos of former WWE Superstars Kaitlyn, Maria Kanellis, Melina Perez, and Victoria also leaked online — Kanellis returned to WWE in June 2017 while Summer Rae got released the following October.
These leaks are part of a large hacking scandal that has resulted in private photos of celebrities being stolen and scattered online.
In the midst of the scandal, rumors spread that hackers had targeted other wrestlers and more material was forthcoming.
“There have been claims that others will follow,” Dave Meltzer wrote in his report on the scandal for the Wrestling Observer Newsletter .
The claims turned out correct as nude photos of WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair leaked online in May 2017.
“Private photos of mine were stolen and shared publicly without my consent,” Flair said in a statement on Twitter. “These images must be removed from the Internet immediately.”
The photos show Flair taking several nude selfies in front of a mirror with her cell phone, which got fitted with a WWE-branded case.
Naturally, this has fans wondering if Carmella is one of the leak victims.
While it seems possible that nude photos of Carmella could leak online since she’s not exactly shy about showing some skin, it hasn’t happened … yet.
