Model Cara Delevingne has become the latest celebrity to join the digital art world by auctioning off a racy NFT for charity.
The society sweetheart, 28, from London , has shared a 30-second long video , which is set to go on sale tomorrow, as she poses nude in front of an exotic sunset and discusses her love for her vagina.
In the short film, the actress, who identifies as pansexual and has dated stars including Ashley Benson and Paris Jackson, explains: 'My vagina - I own it. It's mine and no one else's. I choose what I do with it. And no one can take that away from me.'
Cara teamed up with controversial artist Chemical X for the artwork, which comes in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT) - a kind of unique digital asset that has exploded in popularity so far in 2021.
An NFT is a unique digital token encrypted with an artist's signature and which verifies its ownership and authenticity and is permanently attached to the piece.
It allows 'original' versions of popular online content - like viral memes and tweets - to be sold as if they were physical pieces of art.

In the artwork, she begins by saying: 'My first word was mine. To me, that means something that is most mine - my vagina.'
Speaking of the artwork, Cara said: 'I want this to remind people of how incredibly powerful they are, what a beautiful thing their bodies are and to take pride in that.'
The NFT entitled ‘Mine’, is one of five being launched tomorrow by Chemical X at ThisIsNumberOne.com, which is the first NFT platform in the world to use Bitcoin to ‘mint’ art.

A Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is a unique digital token encrypted with an artist's signature and which verifies its ownership and authenticity and is permanently attached to the piece.
Most NFTs include some kind digital artwork, such as photos, videos, GIFs, and music. Theoretically, anything digital could be turned into a NFT.
At the moment, NFTs are most commonly sold in so-called 'drops', timed online sales by blockchain-backed marketplaces like Nifty Gateway, Opensea and Rarible.
There's an array of reasons why someone may want to buy a NFT. For some, the reason may be emotional value, because NFTs are seen as collectors items. For others, they are seen as an investment opportunity similar to cryptocurrencies, because the value could increase.
Writer and podcaster Andrew Steinwold traced the origins of NFTs back to 2012, with the creation of the Colored Coins cryptocurrency. But NFTs didn't move into the mainstream until five years later, when the blockchain game CryptoKitties began selling virtual cats in 2017.
Other collaborators on the project include iconic DJ and producer Fatboy Slim, pop legend Dave Stewart of Eurythmics and British electronic music duo Orbital.
A solo work by Chemical X makes up the inaugural 5 works.
NFTs - sometimes pronounced 'nifties' - are a unique digital token encrypted with the creator's signature which verifies its ownership and authenticity and is permanently attached to the piece.
The tokens are similar to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum in that they live on blockchain networks - a decentralized, distributed ledger that records transactions of digital assets.
But unlike traditional cryptocurrencies, NFTs are non-fungible, meaning that one cannot be exchanged for another. The digital assets have collectors value, and can represent items including still images, GIFs, videos, music and more.
More than $10 million in NFT transactions are now taking place daily, according to the website DappRadar. The exchanges happen in cryptocurrencies on specialist sites such as Nifty Gateway and OpenSea, on the fringes of the art world. Sales of NFTs are made in Ether, a cryptocurrency that has a fluctuating value.
The phenomenon is now becoming more mainstream with traditional auction houses keen to cash in, lending the craze, and digital artists, even more credibility.
In March, Twitter boss Jack Dorsey's first tweet - 'just setting up my twttr' - sold as an NFT for just over $2.9million.
It was snapped up by Sina Estavi, the CEO of Malaysia-based blockchain company Bridge Oracle.
Valuables' parent company Cent confirmed Dorsey's tweet-turned-NFT was sold to Estavi, who told Reuters he was 'thankful' when asked for comment about the purchase.
It was bought using the cryptocurrency Ether, for 1630.5825601 ETH, which was worth $2,915,835.47 at the time of sale, Cent CEO and founder Cameron Hejazi said.

Cara's decision to sell an NFT comes weeks after she sparked rumours she has reunited with ex-girlfriend Paris Jackson.
The pair were seen showinf off matching red rose tattoos before heading off to Oscars parties as each other's dates.
It's unclear if Paris and Cara are dating once again after putting on an amorous display in March 2018, just a few months after meeting at the MTV VMA Awards.

Amber Heard's life does not seem to improve as Depp's fans refuse to let her get away with all the accusations she has made against their superstar. Nevertheless, the actor hasn't been the only affected.

Lily-Rose Depp and Cara's friendship goes back all the way back to 2015, mainly because of their work relationship with Chanel. The fashion house even posted a photo of Lily-Rose affectionately embraced by Cara Delevingne at an exhibition premiere at Saatchi Gallery in London in October 2015.
Lily-Rose and Cara also scored Chanel eyewear campaigns after Lily-Rose was made the face of the pearl eyewear collection in September 2015 and Cara in April 2016. Chanel also released the collection of its Fall/Winter 2017-2018 campaign starring the house ambassadors Lily-Rose and Cara . In one of the photos from the collection, they even shared an embrace. Besides that, Cara and Lily-Rose were spotted at different events together and even posed together, meaning they were good friends.
Nevertheless, when the footage of Cara and Amber started making rounds on social media, people called out Cara for betraying Johnny Depp's daughter. One person wrote alongside photos of Cara and Lily-Rose, "What's really horrible is how fake Cara Delevingne is. Here she is pictured with Lily-Rose in 2015 and then in 2017, seemingly as her friend. And all the while, she cheated and remained friends with Amber. Where is the shame?" Someone else also wrote, "Do you know that Cara D is a friend of Lily-Rose Depp? The daughter of the man she slept with his wife behind his back in his apartment. Cara is a hypocrite."
Other people also said that Amber probably manipulated Cara since she never came out to support her because Amber emotionally hurt her. However, one person slammed that excuse by saying, "It's easy to say that any time someone who slept with Amber was manipulated. Cara knew Amber was married, so she's also responsible. And if the video is from before August 2016, then Cara also cheated on his girlfriend, St. Vincent, with Amber." As for Lily-Rose, she didn't open up about Amber making out with Cara, but followers on social media said that they understood why she was silent.
The relationship between Amber and Lily-Rose has always been up for debate, and the trial in Virginia only confused fans more about the true nature of the relationship because Johnny and Amber said the complete opposite regarding Lily-Rose and Amber. During the trial, Johnny Depp revealed that his daughter Lily-Rose did not attend his 2015 wedding to Amber , and he claimed her absence was due to conflict allegedly caused by Amber. He said, "My daughter Lily-Rose did not come to the wedding. She and Ms. Heard were not on particularly great terms for several reasons."
Lily-Rose first got involved with the drama in 2016 when she defended her father via Instagram by captioning an old photo. She wrote, "My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
On the other hand, Johnny also revealed that Amber monopolized his time and kept him away from his children. Regarding Johnny's daughter's recent publications, it's clear that Lily-Rose has no intention of publicly calling out Amber yet. But followers think that if Amber continues to use her against Johnny Depp, she might be forced to clap back very soon.
